Its pathetic how so many pressed stans are being so petty over a damn cover. Yes I'm a die hard harmonizer and I'm not very fond of these guys but in my opinion this cover wasn't too bad. It wasn't better than the original but there's no need to be so negative about them covering this song. If you don't like it, that's okay. Just move on and keep it to yourself.

Honestly, they did good. Don't come at me saying they change the pitch, sound, harmony, etc. because that's the point. It's a god damn cover in the first place, they didn't entirely copied them. I stan both bands (The Vamps and Fifth Harmony) and I've seen them both live, too. They're pretty good performers. Some fans are just salty about what happened before with the whole Lauren and Brad/James situation.

This is such an amazing cover. It sounds so much better because of how they changed it stylistically and the instrumentation is perfect. The boys did a wonderful job as always.
Ok firstly they didn't choose the song. The way the live lounge works is the artist gets given a song that they have to perform in THEIR OWN WAY. Which brings me on to my next point, of course it's going to sound different because that's the idea. The Vamps always change up the songs they perform. They even do this with their own songs on tour. The things is even if they hadn't changed it people would have been hating and saying that they just copied 5H. Doing a cover also doesn't mean that it is in any way relevant to bring up the past. In case you haven't realised it they're over it so we should be as well. I don't think either band would be happy at the level of hate The Vamps are getting over this right now. For all you people calling them sexist, you couldn't be more wrong. What happened was a mistake. It was a comment that was misinterpreted because the video was edited to make it look like The Vamps were being horrible to Lauren which they would never do.
I realise that the harmonisers probably wouldn't have read The Vamps' book but in it, Brad explained the whole situation. He said that him and Lauren broke up because it was too hard for them to go out whilst living in different countries and being really busy. In interviews The Vamps try to deflect any questions that they don't want to answer. They often do this with humour. That's what they tried to do here but the video was cut to make the joke look horrible and the part when they said how much they love 5H was also cut out. As everything was kicking off, Brad spoke to Lauren and she was fine about it. That's what really happened so please don't call The Vamps sexist because they really aren't and all of this hating was very hard for them (especially Brad) to deal with at the time because this was the first time they had ever really gotten loads of hate online.

Seriously, I'd hate to call myself a harmonizer if most of the fandom is just gonna hate on other bands [the Vamps] just because Brad dated and broke up with Lauren. That was two years ago. Most relationships don't last and that was just one of those relationships. Both bands are still friends but the fact that they can't hang out or cover eachother's songs or even have some sort of interaction with eachother without the fandoms fighting and hating disgusts me. He did actually date her, that has been confirmed, but what they said in that interview was taken out of context and the way they actually meant it not the way the media portrayed it wasn't that bad. Furthermore it was only James and Tris who made comments, Brad said that 5H were lovely girls and Connor wasn't even involved. Have you actually watched the actual interview where it occurred? because they actually some lovely stuff about the girls in that interview.

I love it. I like this better than the original. why? It's jazzy and raw. The vamps are very talented instrumentalist, which makes the song more advanced. I'm a harmonizer, but the fact that Brad can sing all five parts, and make the song sound 10 times better, that should tell you something.
They're all talented musicians, after having someone close to me work with them certain members could do so much better for themselves if they weren't in a radio oriented band, one that was encouraged to step away from algorithms and experiment, that being said this cover shows that all of them have so much musical ability and its outstanding, it's a shame that much of their audience is too concerns with the drama that surrounds them or what Brad is wearing. In my opinion i like this waaaaay better than the original. Filth harmony just sounds like any other song out there with the same sound and beat. The vamps put their own original groove into it, and played the instruments fantastically. Let alone they didnt even pick the song they just winged it.
