I must say it's great seeing Podkolzin coming into his own and really showing what he can do with the big team. I know of him from where I work with the Abbotsford Canucks and while it was definitely hard to see him go (cause that makes it tougher for our Abby Canucks trying to win the Calder Cup over in the AHL) still super happy for him getting to be part of the big team now.
I was at the Oilers game as well. My section was about even between Nucks and Oilers fans, but us Nucks fans completely overpowered the Oilers fans with our enthusiasm. Also, it was so funny seeing half the arena leave after the Joshua goal.
I'm from Winnipeg but moved to BC many years ago. I've cheered for both teams and hoped one of them would have a big year - but not at the same time! Now I face the nightmare possibility of them having to face off in the western final - like watching your 2 sons beat the crap out of each other in MMA. I know one of them has to go down, but they are both such good teams it's heartbreaking.
I’m wondering how big of a deal do you think Nikita zadorov will be in the playoffs, after watching him in the game against the jets his ability to rain open ice hits and not draw a penalty was outstanding and I believe that he will be priceless in the playoffs for the ability of his hits.

With the win against the Flames it is the 50th win of the season. That is the 3rd best record in Canucks history. The last time the Canucks had 50 wins was in the 2011-12 season with 51 wins and the President's Trophy. Also 3-1 Canucks win against the Jets on Thursday, to tie their 2nd best record. The Vancouver Canucks are good.
I was at the Edmonton game, there were a ton of Canucks fans there! The best part of the game was drowning out their fans with our own "Go Canucks Go" chants. It was hilarious watching all the salty oilers fans leave the game early in my section, being only down 2-1 😂

I was also at the game against the Flames. Great game to be at. Great game to wear my big Hog jersey to a game for the first time. Great game for me to have bought a Joshua jersey before the game started. In the 7 games I've been to, the Canucks are 6-0-1, and have outscored their opponents 31-12.

We’re just getting our own back! I remember a humiliating game against Edmonton when we were up 7-0 in the second period. The Oilers won that game 12-7. Any time we beat the Oilers is a little piece of redemption. And, yes, I’m that old. 🫤

yeah because DeSmith knew he was gonna be a bench warmer for a while because of Thatch's return. Everyone loves DeSmith on our team but look how confident we play when Thatch is in net. And Demers' didn't disappoint....embarrassing Calgary last night during his return from 14 game injury.

Hope they take the opportunity to rest some key players for the final game of the season and get a few of the depth guys like Juulsen and PDG back in the mix. They've earned themselves a solid first round matchup, Nashville is a great team that tries to actually forecheck so I think it will be pretty compelling playoff hockey. this video really made me realize we kinda won against the oilers by luck!!!! other teams have fully won against us by sheer luck so its just part of hockey but wowwwwowow 4-0 against oilers is still crazyyy
