It suits him so well lol - as a Pandora hearts fan I've noticed the author of that series and this has a thing for writing protags who start off as quite immature before adding some real depth
*The dub is so much better because unlike many animes, this one has more western style sarcasm rather than japanese and so the dub gives it a better PUNCH to all the dialogue. I honestly didn't find this show as entertaining and funny with sub as I did with the dub.*
I agree! 👏 Though I did ultimately prefer the german dub over the english one. One reason being that they went the extra mile to talk more old timey and and use more words that are french/german but originated from french wherever they could and it really added to the vibe of the show for me. Honestly yes, especially since it’s in a French setting, so certain words like Gévaudan had more of a kick to it in dub than in sub. Considering that one of the reasons that I love VNC is bcaz of the French setting, I’ll watch the dub just to hear the French accents 😌😌
Ngl not the biggest fan of Vanitas‘ voice myself but this laugh is amazing 1:07 and it’s a good dub so far with just a few problems, you love to see it ^^
I just found out recently that he has the same voice as Hawks from my hero academia and i wouldn’t have believed it if I didn’t look it up. It sounds so different kinda and I love Hawks voice xD
I like how vanitas sounds in the sub, he sounds a little childish in the dub. I think Noe sounds good in both either way I couldn't decide I just watched both dub and sub anyway
No sure why some are disappointed with Vanitas' voice. It's a good match. He had the right amount of gravitas and hamminess to effectively capture the character's personality. Also, Noe is darn near perfect. Really, the only voices in the dub that kind of rubbed me wrong were Child Noe, Louis, and Jeanne

Noe and Vanitas’ English voice actors sound great! I mean the Japanese voice actors are absolutely perfect but I’ll be rewatching it in English for sure now.
Am I the only one who loves Vanitas dub voice? I think it fits his personality so good and when he’s in his serious moments it also fits. I think i’m just a sucker for Zeno Robinson’s voice lol. Noe’s voice is also really good too.
Honestly, this sounds good, the character voices fit, the expressions and way of talking fits, it has some exaggerated anime voice acting without being cringy, it has good comedic timming, kuddos to everyone involved into this

I love the english voice cast of this espically Noe and Vanitas. im scrolling to see figure out why vanita's eng dub is off. And would have disagree. idk about u guys, but the eng va of Vanitas is on point with Vanita's character LOL its just fun and hilarious.
I really like the dub, I haven’t watched much anime so I could be incorrect about this, but I really like how vanitas doesn’t sound like the typical “hot anime guy” in the dub, his voice suits him pretty well, same with all the other characters, I watch the sub to see new episodes but I always like to go back and watch in dub,
Knowing Dante’s VA is Ian Sinclair and he yelles “I’M NOT BALD!” And in another anime he voices a bald character 😂 I’m refering to Hajime Sugoroku from Nanbaka btw
i watched the dub first but when i rewatched that scene in the sub i was honestly a bit disappointed that she wasn't as aggressive with what she says in the sub. i really like her better dubbed, and her voice overall is hot
I absolutely love the Japanese voice actors for this anime. After seeing this, I might actually give the Dub a try before the second season(or 1st season pt.2, whichever you'd prefer to call it) airs in January. It looks fun,

I know it's a good dub, when their lines delivered make me happy and laugh instead of cringe. I'm really liking Noe's voice. He was my favorite when I watched it in Japanese.
I actually like Vanitas's dub quite a lot:> Maybe because for the sub my brain could only hear Kaneki and Tanjiro so it's hard to register it as his voice😭 But for Noé, the sub is a total heart eyes from me❤️👄❤️
Okay but why have I never heard of this anime before!?! It's about vampires and it has Sinclair in it! I just can't. As a Servamp fan I have to watch this.
