I'm living for this Vox/Alastor rivalry. The fact that they're both villains means that there's nothing they won't do to spite each other and I'm scared/excited to see it. 😆

A interesting detail is that Valentino is a moth demon and moths are attracted to blue light TVs emit blue light constantly so Vox is quite literally just a gigantic LAMP for Valentino

the 'ring-ding-ding!' when val answers vox's question correctly is soooo passive-aggressive and patronizing it kills me.

Im very happy with how they reworked Velvette, she's unexpectedly one of my favorite characters so far

I have an idea that Lilith and Alastor, maybe others, have been working on something together. Vox mentions Alastor has been gone for 7 years, and Charlie said she hadn't gotten a reply from her mother in 7 years.

I know that many hate Valentino but I love him, yes I don't like what he does to Angel but I really love him, I think one of my favorite things about Hazbin Hotel are the VEES, They are one of my favorites characters and I love them very much. Vox and Val are my fav

I love Velvette's British accent, Val's Latin accent, and I hope to see Val singing very soon since Joel Pérez sings very well, by the way I LOVE how Velvette sings, it's so beautiful

I love Vox's little finger point at himself at 7:37, it's such an easy to miss little bit of characterization.

They didn't change up Alastors past in hell. He died in the 1930's. He was around for decades but suddenly went MIA at the same time as Lilith and just returned after 7 years

With how needy Val is and how aloof Vox is to conversations that aren't about him or his agenda, I like to think Val intentionally throws tantrums to get his attention sometimes. I adore them and want more, Vox is my favorite

I only came to this verse when i had a musical playlist on in the car and loved happy day in hell. That was end of oct last yr. Watched pilot and was annoyed no show. So when it came out i binged watched what i coyld and now am binge watching reactors react lol.

*"So Alastor almost beat all three of them?"* Nah, then that would have been presented like that. Vox is supposedly one of the stronger overlords in the series, and we can probably assume he did (just barely) beat Alastor. He's just the kind of adoration-hungry prick that hates being upstaged, hence why he ends up screwing himself up in this song by letting his anger run away with him. In a way, it is similar to how Velvette is not necessarily as strong as Carmilla, but absolutely styled on her at the meeting by provoking her anger and leading her into more or less implicate herself. (supposedly there's statements that Carmilla and Zestial are the two strongest overlords, followed by Vox... haven't found a source). Supposedly Vox asking Alastor to join the team was partially because he was romantically interested, so it is also rejection rage(again, with Vox being obsessed with adoration, that stuff would stick in his craw).

Great reaction. I'm not quite sure which Vee I like best after these first four episodes. It's between Vox and Velvet for me. I also just love all the music😊

Slightly different comment (goes without saying the show is great so far, thanks so much for introducing it!)- I watch a fair bit of Blindwave's reaction content and they are happy with not having to fade the content. Obviously cuts are needed but taking out a bit of visual while carrying on the audio helps for longer stretches. Of course it's ultimately whatever you're comfortable with, getting flagged is certainly not worth taking risks but they've been going many years now reacting to pretty much everything. I've annoyingly caught the Reactions bug in recent months so more like your HH content please! :)

Vox > Velvet > Valentino are how I'd rank them but I like them all
