Oh I put a $1000 on 2019 prepaid this bike, back then the price was much less than now with $8k tax writ- off for being electric, couldn't wait anymore, and got my money back in 2022, and now the projected price is $32000 with no tax writ- off.
innovation comes when needed! i think the future of this will come simultaneously when all cars we drive are electric and high tech coz its pointless to ride a basic motorcycle when all cars are high tech already
There will be landing gear to keep the vehicle stationary when parked. There will also be protocols in place so you will be made very aware of your battery life - the chances of the battery dying on you unexpectedly are almost nonexistent unless you deliberately ignore the warnings from the vehicle. In the case that those warnings are ignored, there are soft fail protocols in place to ensure the vehicle lands safely before the battery is depleted. Hope this answers your questions!
Been waiting for Lit Motors to finally get this bike to pre-production. Would you want a Livewire [slightly cheaper] or this. I'll take this bike all week long and twice on Sundays. 👍
We've just launched an equity crowdfunding campaign to help move us into production development. We post regular updates on our campaign page, and via our monthly newsletter - we recommend subscribing if you'd like to keep up with the latest! wefunder.com/litmotors

You need 5 million, I can't understand why it is so hard to get an investor for this little amount? Keanu Reeves or Jay Lennon both are motorcycle enthusiasts, why don't you give them a call, they can write you a check in no time, maybe even more?
It's been like 8 yrs now has it that we've been waiting? I was investor, but not sure how this will compete when so many other comparably cost evs options out there.
Hey Robert! Thanks for being a longtime follower. Our goal is to create a viable 2-wheel alternative that works for anyone without prior motorcycle experience, bringing together the efficiency of a motorcycle with the safety/convenience of a car. Many people are deterred from motorcycles from an accessibility/safety standpoint, and this is the perfect bridge when it comes to safety, fun, practicality, efficiency, and sustainability! 🙏
found an article on CNET published on May 30th 2012 showing a Lit Motors prototype. so this isn't realistically going to happen anytime soon if it's already been in the works for OVER A DECADE
Hey there! We have a detailed blog post going over our hiatus, but our founder and CEO was in a motorcycle accident which required a significant recovery period. You can read about it more here! www.litmotors.com/post/answering-your-questions
Apologies if that part was confusing - we definitely are not taking credit for the airplane, we have the same type of patent that the Wright brothers had, which is absolutely groundbreaking in the context of a car. There hasn't been innovation evolving the 4-wheel car to this extent since they were invented! 🙏
In the case of side impact, the gyros will transfer roll moments to the gyroscopes instead of the passengers (additionally, the gyros will naturally "push back" with equal force, keeping the vehicle upright). As for getting hit by a semi, that is a risk we all take when we choose to get on the road regardless of vehicle choice. Our goal is to bring the AEV to NCAP homologation safety standards, which are much safer than US safety standards!
Thanks for checking out our blog! We have worked through and reduced our technical risks with the help of David Bailey, a world class expert on CMGs/dynamics, and we are now raising to move into production development. The "challenges" there will working out the kinks that naturally occur in any development process, but the technology itself has already been figured out and patented. Hope this answers your question!
@@litmotorsofficial Yes, thank you. I pay attention to your concept for more then 10 years. I love it. Escape from the traffic jams in a save body. Thats what the world needs.
Our patents protect us through 2039! We have launched an equity crowdfunding campaign if you'd like to check it out - we're raising to help move us into production development with our partners in Germany. Check it out and let us know what you think! wefunder.com/litmotors
Think the concept rocks! But while it is trying to hit mid-stream, i think it does the same mistake as the early EVs, it is too boring. Sorry. Would love to see it with way bigger tires. Maybe 285 or 295 wide. Also the cabin ends too abrupt. Why not coupe it. Adding storage at the same time. Then I’m all in :)
Great to hear from you. We appreciate you being a long time follower and supporter of Lit Motors. We understand where you're coming from and the frustration with how much time has passed. To more directly explain what has been going on for so many years, we've updated our blog to address this for transparency: www.litmotors.com/post/answering-your-questions We're also posting regular updates on our Wefunder crowdfunding page as we continue our equity crowdfunding campaign: wefunder.com/litmotors
We experienced a hiatus due to our founder and CEO's motorcycle accident, but we're back with a passionate team and a patent moat protecting us through 2039!
If you wanted to be taken seriously, you would not compare an enclosed motorcycle with a gyro wheel for balance to the invention of flight, the internet, etc. So you don’t want to be taken seriously. Another way to achieve the same thing is to just have three wheels, it still qualifies as a motorcycle for licensing. But lots of people have tried to sell three wheeled cars and not really a big demand for them. Aptera still trying to get enough capital for production after like eighteen years. The big appeal of a motorcycle is the NOT being enclosed part. Otherwise, people can just buy a small electric car. Before you can start selling, Tesla will have one for $25,000.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I was talking mostly about what country allowed the Idea’s inception and the rarity of our Patent portfolio which is modeled off of the Wright brothers and the Curtis aileron.
The name is enough for me to not be interested. Not sure I trust the decision-making of a company whose name sounds like something a caricature of frat boy would come up with. “It’s gonna be lit boyyyyy!”
