I guess just no one picked up on it since they didn’t have the context at the time of Ellum taking Courtilly’s role (and also the fact that dumbdog said it really under his breath lol)

Dude, when I saw Hafu as your partner I thought ''okay, there's no way the Venerer's curse continues. Nobody dares to sheriff Hafu first round and I haven't seen her die first round recently'' until I saw she was lovers LMAO. What a way to keep the curse alive XDDDD Btw, the "what a downgrade comment" killed me. Tbf, Courtilly is such a great player that most players would be downgrades
