Former Narcotics Detective here from Sacramento County. Thank you for covering a case I've never heard of before. I listen to true crime constantly while working out & have never heard one of my former nmates covered before... James Anthony Daveggio & Michelle Lyn Michaud. Michaud was in Sac County Jail when I was working there, fresh out of the Academy. It takes a lot to shock me after a decade in law enforcement. The way they tortured their victims is permanently scarred into my brain. There is a very well done true crime book that's easy to find online, that gives all the details of their murders. I like the way you cover cases, so I thought to give you this unusual suggestion. Take care!
Like Bramble Reid, I hadn't know about this tragedy, so thank you for delving in to it for us. I would love to see more international stories! I love your channel and the format you use. And your videos are right to the point and I like that! Keep the stories coming!!! 👍
Learning about the international cases is also really important to learn about too. Sometimes everyone is in their own bubbles that they don't even consider horrible things happen in other places. Keep up the great work!
Adrian- I think I speak for everyone watching when I say that I’m sick of hearing the same cases over and over. Sometimes multiple channels even cover the same case within the same day/ week of each other. I appreciate that you go to all countries and cover cases I’ve never even heard of! Thank you so much!!
Hello there! Thanks for your nice comment ,your comments are worth viewing. I would have loved to be friends with you but I don’t know how and without your consent would be rude. Do you mind sending me a message on Telegram through my profile for us to be good friends here okay. Thanks.🙏
I disagree, as I hardly ever hear the same stories over the 'channels' on line.... There is soo much going on in the World, so maybe check different 'social media venues'...
Allegedly, from the account of a friend who lived in Kuwait at the time, Nasra’s sister in laws were tormenting her daily before the wedding by constantly sending her videos and pictures of the gold and gifts her husband bought his new wife during the engagement period. I don’t know how accurate this information is but I was also told that the case was prolonged because of what they found on Nasra’s and the sister in laws phones, resulting in imprisonment of the sister in law and the husband for a short while. Another thing which may be inaccurate is, the husband on the wedding day that the mass murders happened took his new wife from the salon she was getting ready in directly to the hotel that they were going to consummate the marriage in after the celebration, without telling her that her mother has just passed away. This is all alleged and could just be rumours but it sheds light on the public perception of the time.
In these backwards cultures , the women have no privacy , constantly under the watchful eye of in-laws, love can’t flourish under such conditions, interfering and spiteful in-laws nearly always kill the fun in the relationship, it’s forbidden to break the bond of husband wife , but usually it’s alway the women in the family who enjoy getting their sons married multiple times , and they don’t care about the previous wives that they hurt.
Hello from the US! I honestly love the international cases. For those of us that tend to watch a lot of true crime, the cases tend to get repeated a lot, so it’s nice to learn about cases abroad that aren’t widely spoken about.
Same 💯% I agree 👍 being from Boston, I've heard a lot of Crime Stories and a lot are repeated. So Love the fact that (we're) meaning; The US 🇺🇸 aren't the only country with some crazy Monsters 👹in their country, there are other Monsters 👹 in many countries
Yes!! my husband this because he said he doesn't watch Adrian because he's never heard of most of the crimes he tells and I told him that's why I love watching his videos.
She didn't even try to kill the person who had wronged her, but decided to kill an unknown number of women and children instead. People who had done absolutely nothing to hurt her. If she had a somewhat rational train of thoughts about revenge at some point, it derailed in the most tragic and spectacular way possible. Please keep these ones coming, Adrian! There is a wealth of bizarre and outside the norm cases in the world that most of us never get to hear about. 👍
You are wrong about 1 thing, this prob hurt the husband more than 1000 deaths. He is now the guy whose wife ruined his life, imagine the shame in such a country
Instead of killing her husband, the one and only person who upset her, she killed 57 innocent people who had nothing to do with her issues. Wow, that's crazy. She lashed out against people who had nothing to do with her.
If you're looking for some international cases then I'm gonna throw my suggestion in there: Katarzyna Waśniewska's murder in Sosnowiec, Poland. Full of unexpected developements and wildly publicized. The eyes of every Pole saw how it went from a missing child case to murder. Katarzyna killed her infant daughter Magdalena. It happened in 2012, since I'm Polish I have been there to witness how wild it was. Idk how well known it is outside of Poland so I recommend finding someone to help with translating resources. Have a great day! :>
Nothing justifies the loss of innocent lives but it's worth bearing in mind that Nasar was only 23 years old at the time, looking after two disabled children by herself while her husband was treating her cruelly every day. She suffered physical and mental abuse at the hands of her husband and his relatives on a daily basis. She was mentally broken and emotionally traumatised at the time. The last straw that broke the proverbial camel's back was being taunted by her husband and his new (younger than Nasar) wife's family before the wedding. I believe her claim that murder was never her intention, she simply wanted to ruin the celebration by setting a small fire and cause disruption. However, she wasn't aware that the tent's material was highly flammable.
murder is always wrong no matter the cause, but the most evil is the cause of it. I condemn the husband, Making an innocent young women to be a baby factory. all those wont happen if only he's man enough to be patient and become a great Father.
Nah, she lost all sympathies the moment she lashed out at the innocent. She's just as evil as her husband at that point and you'd be a fool to downplay what she did to a whole bunch of other families. Just imagine it was your family she lashed out at, you'd drop all sympathies for her. Give the innocent at least that.
How she managed to pour the gasoline around a large enough tent that holds 50-100 people without anybody noticing that odd behavior or smelling it during that moment is beyond me.
"managed to pour the gasoline, without anybody noticing "... By not pouring very much gas around at all (a couple cups). She probably thought she was just going to stop the wedding, not kill everyone inside. Which is understandable, polygamy.
It's appreciated that you're covering cases that aren't as known across the globe, it helps us all learn from such tragedy and keep the memory alive in our hearts. I hope all of the families find peace.
Just below OP's comment another commenter explained that the husband in this case blamed the wife for their children's defects. So yeah he's not a good man.

Even Prophet Muhammed pbah didn't give permission to his daughters husband to take a second wife!
Please continue to do international cases, even if it means the videos may be shorter. I am consistently impressed by you bringing cases here that I’ve never heard before. There’s only so many times I can watch videos on JonBenet Ramsey, so keep up the great work!

This case took "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" to a whole new level... If you genuinely mistreat someone in such an egregious manner like what Nasra's husband pulled on her and the kids, you never know what they will do to you in return. This serves as a cautionary tale to be careful how you treat someone, no matter what culture you come from. On a brighter note, I welcome more international cases wholeheartedly just for the way you deliver those stories alone :) Keep it up!
I have to admit that at first I totally got her having hate and seeking vengeance on her husband - until she literally took it out on innocent people and didn’t even touch her husband. Not that it would be right! I just get the human condition and her situation was messed up. So sad
It seems like there are so many stories out there like this. Some school shooters are like this too (not many, but some). Mentally ill person is being f'ed with by someone, goes totally off the rails and kills people who had nothing to do with the problem. I'm sure there's a psychological explanation for all of it but in the end it's "nice motive, still mass murder."
“My husband is cheating on me, let’s go murder 57 people!” There are better ways to fix your problems that don’t involve murdering a bunch of innocent people for attention. But yeah, I feel real bad for her..
I keep seeing cases where people take revenge on the person they got cheated on with, but not on the person they got cheated on by. I know it's not the same as the situation here but it still rubs be the wrong way
I don’t fully think she meant to kill those people. I think she was just too early so the bride & groom hasn’t gone in yet & seeing as she was outside I doubt she had any real confirmation on whose was gonna get hurt. The stories fucked in it’s entirety especially the husband & yes of the kids & 2nd wife get pity but before just saying she meant to kill only those people you gotta think who’s fault it really is which is his. She acted on impulse & sadness which is understandable & her first confession seemed remorseful of killing the guests it’s really just the guy getting too lucky. She has no right to burn it in the first place I’m just saying don’t label only her
I'm not Arab and would never understand the culture and its laws and although I feel for the families who lost loved ones, I'm not entirely shocked that this tragic incident was not completely but partially instigated by a husband who couldn't understand, support or be 'impressed' by the struggles she was facing. Mental health, patriarchal tendancies, society blame and basic 'non support' has driven people to crazy extremes.
Or maybe he was disgruntled that his lazy stay at home wife was doing a shitty job at taking care of his special needs children. She general seemed like a piece of shit. Situations like this is exactly why men should be the foremost in championing for equality and women's rights. So that men can gain independence from parasitic situations like this. And after hearing this whole story, amazingly women find a way to make the man the bad guy. This bitch was pure evil......she didn't even kill the person she was pissed at! Just killed a bunch of women AND CHILDREN! And you want to talk about how she is somehow a victim or misunderstood?! Get the fuck out here.
you’re not Arab, you’re African… the continent with the highest polygamy rates 💀💀 wdym you’re not familiar with the culture? Also, maybe you should learn the art of accountability for women. Wanting equal rights while simultaneously infantilising yourself to justify committing the most atrocious crimes.
I remember the empathy in your voice when i watched you a while ago....im glad i found you again...having coffee and learning about this horrific tragedy...oh my gosh..so sad. Hell hath no fury like a scorned woman.
I've lived and worked in that particular region for 10 years, and I know that it probably took some extra effort to research this story. However, you delivered the story well. I would definitely like to see more stories like this one. Kudos and keep up the great work!
I truly admire the way you narrate each case with such poise and such sensitivity. You and your team put so much thought and effort into giving historical context of the place, the people, and their culture. It’s really remarkable! Thank you so much and best wishes for future endeavors!
Y’all heard 57 women and CHILDREN right??? Too many people in this comments section equating her mass murder of CHILDREN because her husband was taking a second wife? That’s a whole graveyard. How are we equating this? Even if WORST POSSIBLE SCENARIO he killed her/tried to and the 3 kids - that’s still 3 v 57. Wtf.
I can't imagine how harrowing it would've been for the poor bride, none of this was her fault in any way and she lost her mother and sister, as well as dozens of loved ones and friends, because of this. The action isn't justifiable in any way but I can see her being upset with the husband in some sense, but why this other woman, in a cultural setting in which this is normal?
@@RealElongatedMuskrat honestly this is normal, my aunt’s husband got married to his brother’s wife (after his brother died) and it’s been more than 40 years and they hate each other, fight all the time till this day. The husband instigates the fights and enjoys it
Another not so well known case for me. You did it again! Thank you for covering cases from all over the world & from all different cultural backgrounds.
Thanks Adrian. You're the only one going outside the box and finding cases around the world that hasn't been shown by 100 other RU-vidrs over and over. Love your channel 👍 That bloody husband was just as responsible as her if not more.
Dire Trip does many Japanese cases. Grazy TV does mainly East Asian (Korea, China, Japan, Malaysia, etc) as well. That said there is a big hole in the market for Middle Eastern cases.
It's possible the childrens care was given to the new wife, but I doubt she feels kindly towards them. I wonder what the husband will do if he has more children with disabilities, considering the disorders could come from his gene pool and not from the first wife.
I like hearing about international cases as I usually learn something about a different country. I also like the traditional true crime too. Thank you for making videos for us, you’ve got everything down packed like the music, the intro and telling the story at the right pace. I never drift off while listening. And I don’t get super anxious either, as some channels have haunting music or the music is too loud etc. you have done everything perfectly in your videos and it makes it easy to listen to. I always learn something new. I know many cases are sad, it’s good to spread awareness.
I was surprised to hear that a royal family member was executed for murdering his disabled nephew, I think the British royal family could learn a thing or two about holding family members accountable for their actions.
Aren't they holding Harry quite countable for his actions? Is he happy now living in America far away from his family, with hardly any contact? I think they did a good job erasing him as he asked for it, but now he wants back withhis tail between his legs...let's wait and see what hppens.
International cases all the way! I love the way you narrate them after giving a brief description of the country the crime happened.this gives people like me an idea of the culture and society of those places. Keep up the good work Adrian!
Wow!!! This was way tragic, and so sad! Please continue to give us all of the stories that you are considering to do. I love learning about all of the people in this world that We all currently live in. So, please bring it on, and keep up the Great work that you and your team are delivering!!!
This reminds me of a traditional Danish ballad, “Hr. Peders Slegfred” (Sir Peder’s Mistress/common law wife) about a woman who’s husband divorced her and pretends they were never married, that she is only his mistress, for him to marry a new wife. She disguises herself as a servant at the wedding, and when the couple retreats to their marriage bed, she sets fire to the whole celebration, and every guest and the newlyweds die. The husband sees her, and begs her to help him, promising he will help her in the future, and the last lines are these: “Then she answered so loudly that she laughed: “I know so well how you keep your word!” Btw: they are given the names of Hr. Peder (Sir Peter) and Liden Kirsten (maid Kirsten, but lit. ‘small Kirsten’), but these are the two names given to all unmarried couples in Danish ballads. It just means that they are generic/not historical, and not married.
International, local, wherever, doesn’t matter. I love the way you present cases in general and the ones you pick are really interesting. If the story peaks your interest I’m positive you can present it in a way that peaks ours. Keep up the good work…
I would like to see any case you cover, because you are covering every case in an interesting way with compassion toward victims. And anyway, your viewers are from all over the world. So, keep up the good work of informing us about crime all over the world. 🙂 You are a kind soul Mr.Adrian. ❤
Crazy how even in a case where the woman did the evil deed, other female true crime enjoyers still find a way to blame men on everything. Can we, as Women, just stand proud for ONCE and admit some of our wrongdoings? Jesus christ, yall.....
Of course we admit it in all Deadly Women episodes. When a woman can divorce, can find a job and move on, of course it's 100% her responsibility to move on peacefully. But when someone can't work, can't divorce and gets mistreated? She goes nuts. I don't know what I'd do, and you don't know either.
Yea but she didn’t go out and kill each one by hand like serial killers do. So it’s not that impressive to me. Had she done each by hand, then we could compare to serial killers
Because our media blows things out of proportion. Mass murders happen every day in major cities with large gang populations, but we dont talk about black on back crime in the US because it ruins the political agenda.
As a Kuwaiti I remember this like it was yesterday, I was 13 when it happened , this incident shook the entire Arab nation because Kuwait is so safe and it’s unusual for something like this to happen, Kuwait is a small country and we consider ourselves like a big family, anything happens we all stick together through it, I’m proud to be Kuwaiti.
iam in kuwait that time.i heard about the news.our customer are all afraid to what happen iam not interested to listen..its true .jealous the main reason eventhough 4wives is legally accepted still they have to consider the feeling of the women..this is the problem in middle east they dont care about the feeling bec theyre only a women so this is whats happening...entire middle east lacem think about the feeling becos theyre human being.our customer sometimes they telling about their lovelife about the husband theyre crying miskini..we cant do nothing oly isma sino muskula.
Adrian this is good that you bring light to more international cases. Such a crazy tragedy and no other RU-vid channel I watch has covered this incident.
Great narration and story telling. Very disturbing and heartbreaking 57 😢 innocent people died and 74 injured. Nazra--is evil, indeed. Thank you so much for sharing.
No anger or hate beats the anger, hurt and hate towards a husband or wife marrying another person especially when they had children together. Such a tragic case. Very sad.
Hell Hath No Greater Fury ,Than a Woman Scorned. That is how much a woman values her body, and after the husband has helped himself to her assets, he insulted her by looking for a second wife.
Such an awful tragedy those poor people. Any videos by you are fine by me Adrian, cases are always interesting wherever they are from! Love this channel! X
I knew nasra very well coz I met and talked to her personally in the central jail of kuwait. you might wonder why I was there? well i got pregnant out of wedlock. But that was 13 years ago. Anyway as I was saying I met her there in the area which they called “ macofat” where the person needs to be quarantine first before mixing her to another inmates. I remember she was the first person who welcomed me in that area. She was very kind and very fun to be with. I also remember one time she asked me what is my case why I’m in the jail? I told her it’s because I got pregnant and the father of my child was missing. She said “hada mushkila” it’s mean problem. So I asked her the same question why your here? She said at first that I had some problem with money laundering since I was new I just believed of what she told me. As time went on I heard a lot of humors against her that every time she went to the court she needs to have a lot of police to escort her because those families that she killed was trying to assasinate her. Though I already knew the truth she kept on denying about what happened. After 9 months in the jail I traveled back to my country with my daughter. I felt sad about what happened to her but in the end justice has been served. Rest In Peace nasra and thank you for the memories. There are some missing details here that witness was her srilankan housemaid. And yes I remember she told me she had miscarriage.
I really am loving you throwing in some new INTERNATIONAL CRIMES, it gives the rest of us, who don't know "the little things" & laws of other countries, an in sight on how crimes are handled from all angles around the World, they might seem shorter in your eyes, but we learn quite a bit, which your research shows you go above & beyond for us to understand others cultures. MUCH APPRECIATED 🌏⚖️🇰🇼
Honestly? Feel free to do whatever true crime content you want. You do a great job every time. I love hearing international, gruesome, minor, whatever, etc crimes. Also, loved the outtake!
like, yeah... so easy. she couldn't divorce, it's kuweit. a very muslim country. with very muslim rules. and if she had divorced, what was she supposed to do next? get a couple of jobs while having to care for two babies? getting a new husband, who would willingly, coming from a muslim country, financially care for two kids with needs who aren't his?
Yeah, there's just no way she could've found peace. The fact that she tried to maintain her innocence even after admitting to her crime is scary. Who could possibly go on living with the blood of so many innocent lives on their hands? What a horrible thing to have happened.
On the Day of Judgment, she will be judged for all of this. However, if she repents of this terrible crime, and asks for God's forgiveness, God will forgive her, even for something as horrible as this.
Being such an avid watcher of true crime, it's nice to see international cases, as more times than not I haven't heard about them. Thank you for all your hard work!
Finally a story from an Arab country. There are a lot of crazy stories in our countries. I like to see the opinions of people from different cultures on these stories. Keep up the good work.❤
I was working in Kuwait, at that time and the news of this, did shock everyone. To many innocent lives were lost that day. I hope all their families have found some peace.
Horrible story, so many innocent lives taken away. Thank you for using the metric system, saying things like Celsius, Kilograms, Meters etc. Makes it often much better to understand for us non-Americans.
It’s sad that the husband didn’t die, he’s pure evil to leave his wife alone with their disable children, she really cared about them otherwise she would’ve left him with the children the moment she learned about him searching for second wife. I hope those children are not left with her parents after her death, I hope it’s the husband who receives them. I hope every wife leaves him for those children.
That's a horrible thing to wish. I hope the children are left to good people who will actually care for them, not a horrible man who obviously saw them as a nuisance.
It is really true mostly women take care of the children, men do not bother about their commitment. Fortunately in India families taking care of disabled children, without breaking and looking new partner.
@@gvenkatesan2375 Which India are you talking about cause Indian women that I personally know escaped from India cause they feared being married to a dog, a tree, or a pot! Furthermore, abandoning their own children is the very first act of an Indian woman who successfully escapes India after secretly prancing around in India and producing children out of wedlock. Indians spew this fake image of India being advanced and all but it's all a lie!

Only those who have insight and reflect on reality are able to see through it. This verse reminds us of the danger! Polygamy marriages come under desires! Bukhari :: Book 7 :: Volume 62 :: Hadith 157 Narrated Al-Miswar bin Makhrama: I heard Allah's Apostle who was on the pulpit, saying, "Banu Hisham bin Al-Mughira have requested me to allow them to marry their daughter to Ali bin Abu Talib, but I don't give permission, and will not give permission unless 'Ali bin Abi Talib divorces my daughter in order to marry their daughter, because Fatima is a part of my body, and I hate what she hates to see, and what hurts her, hurts me."... Even Prophet Muhammed pbah didn't give permission to his daughters husband to take a second wife!
Can't believe this happened 13yrs ago and I never heard of it. The world is smothered by Politics and War Crimes. Please more International Stories like this would really be nice. One will never knows when a big story on one's backyard will be next.
It's truly horrific but credit to Kuwait for recognizing ways they can help prevent another similar tragedy and acting on it instead of just declaring how sympathetic they are.
You must not think of the result only, but the intent! She thought to take out the bride and her guests. Men gets away with abuse, so many women thinks that it is the surroundings that must be adjusted and adapted for the men.
@@TinaFivesten what? If she intended to kill only the husband and the bride (which in of itself is an evil thing to do) then why she burned the tent? She knew full well that there were 100+ guests which included children. Her intend wasn't good.
@@yousufkhan5787 Maybe she felt betrayed by the women who should have understood her feelings. Maybe she was trying to keep them from having to be hurt like she was. Not saying it's right but not one person stood up for her and helped her.
As a kuwaiti, I remember how this horric incident shook our peaceful country. With such a low crime rate, even theft is rare. This incident hit us really hard💔 RIP to the women who lost their lives that horrible night
if you are Muslim, why are you using RIP to those who died? We say, Ina nilahe wa ina elahi rajeoon, what us RIP? Christians use it not Muslims, I ont know what happened to these so called Muslims in the name of MODERNISM??? Whay rip? Rest In Pieces? It could be this also yeah???
@@davidcook680 In Kuwait, and most Gulf countries, there are two wedding parties. Men's party is different than the women's (and children) party. They're not mixed. The fire was set in the women's party. All the deaths and injuries were to women and children 💔
This story is very interesting. I’ve been the wife that was misunderstood, disparaged, and set aside by a Muslim man for a different bride. The difference is that we live in the USA. I tried to befriend the new wife, but the used to be husband blocked that as he knew I’d tell his secrets. Lmao 😂 My son had a hard time growing up, yet is a functioning adult. My “niece and nephew” attended a school at which I substitute taught. After 17 years, the children’s Father and I are somewhat cordial. It took 6 years from my late husband’s memorial to get to this point. When he was alive, I wasn’t respected at all. This story was very interesting. I’d like to see whatever stories you have.
It's not right that you should be completely disrespected by these men. They are users of the woman and her womb. I hope he financially took care of you at least. Plus you should have been also able to select A NEW HUSBAND yourself!
you are an American. Ex wife. You should have moved on. Why would the ex's family support you? Unless you were Muslim and wanted to be a co wife? Then you deserve it for throwing away your freedom.
She knew about the custom of polygamy before marrying and having kids with the guy. Shouldn't have been such a shock. You know, if you don't like hamburgers, stay out of McDonalds.
I remember when this happened, I’m from UAE, it was scary when my mother was talking about the story, a few days later laws were implemented to ban all flammable objects from and in weddings، I was very young back then, but during that time a lot of scary things used to happen
The problem is, in Islam her husband getting a 2nd wife is not considered adultery although it rightly should. And her husband if he chooses to dump her through talaq (verbally rejecting her as wife) is also acceptable in society even if he dumps her after one night of free sex (which is worse than paying for a prostitute because prostitutes are paid monies while the woman who just gave him sex under the guise of 'marriage' does not and can possibly even get pregnant or scorned upon by society. Alot of people don't know this. But women are 2nd class humans in Islam, that is why in some countries they are not even allowed to leave their homes without a male relative and in some countries not even allowed to go to school or learn driving. It is all because of Islam. Tabari IX:113 "Allah permits you to shut them in separate rooms and to beat them, but not severely. If they abstain, they have the right to food and clothing. Treat women well for they are like domestic animals and they possess nothing themselves. Allah has made the enjoyment of their bodies lawful in his Qur'an." Tabari I:280 "Allah said, 'It is My obligation to make Eve bleed once every month as she made this tree bleed. I must also make Eve stupid, although I created her intelligent.' Because Allah afflicted Eve, all of the women of this world menstruate and are stupid!”
@@marvelcomiks8078 Why consider it adultery when it is a full marriage? Also no free sex in Islam.. you have to marry the woman by asking her hands from her family and then pay all the wedding and housing and all life fees of the woman .. not like you in west and east non muslim countries who sleep with the woman just one night for free and making her pay for her own life .. or at least you make her pay for half of the house fees
@@ytytyyu The thing about keeping sanctity in marriage is not about the marriage itself but the divorce. Islam does not promote holiness or sanctity by compelling marriage while letting divorce runs rampant like wild fire through the Talaq, that is an absolute mockery of the institution of marriage. Divorce is scorned upon in many religions. Only by preventing divorce can you make marriage better. Imagine at age 20, I marry 4 women, then every year I get sick of two of them, divorce them through Talaq and marry another two. When I reach 40, how many wives did I have? 42. And if every man is allowed that, how many rotations did the women do in that 20 years? It is FREE Prostitution. As usual, Islam only gives an outward appearance of sanctity and holiness, but in reality, it is anything but that. And we are not even counting how many 'mustards' were produced in Islam through that shameful process.
Thank God you will be back to normal scheduling You & Coffee House Crime is a part of many of our lives. So we did miss you while you were transitioning into your new space! So please more of your true crime stories, I like both formats the internet based ones & International, it gives variety 😌😁❤️
I never knew of this case and it's extremely appalling that this woman's selfishly took 57 lives because she was scorned of her husband getting married again. Yeah she has a right to be upset but the laws in that country really are a double-edged sword when it comes to marriage but regardless, what she did was completely uncalled for 57 people didn't deserve to die. I hope they find peace in the next world. That's all I can say. And thank you for covering this story. You're practically one of the few channels that cover international crime stories perfectly
@@walterrudich2175 Damn they can protest peacefully, spread awareness and if those are suppressed then make a revolution and that would be violent too, be brave to confront wrong if you feel it's wrong instead of justifying the inhuman act of killing and the innocent children and ladies that were not the basic point of it
I really like international cases (though, in reality I love hearing you narrate any case). If you're looking for something from Argentina, 20 years ago a woman was murder in a gated community in Pilar, near Buenos Aires. All fingers pointed to her husband, but he never admitted to it. The story is really interesting, and it even has a six-episode documentary in Netflix. The victim's name was María Marta García Belsunce. I hope to see it here one day. See you in the next vid!
@@justfaye6763 I would guess that it's called "Carmel: who killed Maria Marta?" because that is the literal transcription from the original tittle in Spanish. Also, it has four episodes, not six. I was confused with another documentary.
There is so much American true crime, I can find some South African true crime. So it is interesting to find some true crime around the world. Please keep on giving true crime like this. Keep up the good work.
I live in the Arabian peninsula and honestly never heard of this case before, I guess I was too young when it made headlines. thank you for covering this case, you did very well explaining the traditions of the country. It would be great if you cover more cases like this, from all over the world. I'm so sorry for the families of the victims, may their hearts find peace.
This breaks my heart! So many women and children lost in a fire set by another woman, mom with kids herself. Ugh..I don't get it! I don't really keep up with punishment other than here in the USA, but I had no idea that hanging was still out there. That shocked me but I guess it serves it's purpose no matter what it is 🤷🏼♀️ thank you for the video! Look forward to seeing them 😊✌🏻 all over the world is good 👍🏻
I am from Kuwait, Nasra and her husband, and most of the wedding guests are not Kuwaitis, but rather residents of Kuwait with no known identity. As for the occurrence of another marriage, we all know that most of the crimes in the West, especially the killing of the wife, are at the hands of her boyfriend or the husband. This is a very high percentage, and most often the reason is the betrayal of one of the spouses. In the end, no one deserves to die because of a relationship, as there is always the option of separation or divorce
I remember the chaos this case caused being nicknamed the wedding from hell. She wanted to scare the people and ruin the day but the fire caught up with the tent . She regretted it and said so before she was executed
@@shyama6576 her mother is the one who’s taking good care of her children. Because I remember during visiting day her mom was the one who brought foods and also her two kids just to see her.
OMG did they survive? I wish she had chosen a better way to exact revenge. Poor woman, poor children. I’m being devils advocate here, but are all men evil? I’m 70 but I haven’t witnessed much in my life that has given me joy where men are concerned. I wish she had chosen a better way. Cruel world 😢
It's unfair towards the wife to portrait her as with mental issues or impulsive etc, just to justify her actions. It was her husband who didn't respect her and his own family, with his own children. He didn't care about their feelings and needs, just about his own desire, lust and ego. Such selfish man...
Everyone is susceptible to emotional trauma and unfair treatment, and Nasra for sure had a difficult life, but these videos highlight how what matters is how we react to the negativity thrown at us in our life. Always work for the betterment of yourself & others, no matter what
That's very easy to say when you are not walking in their shoes. Plus, such an attitude requires a high degree of self-reflection and willpower that some people simply aren't endowed with.
It is sad what she did..... this is the act of a mother a sister a daughter a cousin ..... frustrated by this culture using women as animals and being discarded like trash when the men feel for a new toy god bless her soul always and her children what she did was wrong but this celebration was an insult to her and other women like her put yourself in her situation god bless her soul🙏😢
Someone supposedly witnessed her pouring gasoline around the tent didn't ask her what she was doing or stop her??? As far as her husband is concerned, she had psychological problems and didn't get her help. I have to put some of the blame on him. I bet he wasn't held responsible at all?
I don't believe she had any mental illness. Pi believe this was a crime of passion, like is commonly scene in the western world! And the Oxygen Channel. Angry, used, sick children, jealous, abandoned by her older husband, moving on to a new young bride! And on The Oxygen Channel. Tradition or not, no woman wants to be used and discarded!!!
@@begobolehsjwjangan2359 For this old man, using up a 17 year old, leaving her with sick troubled children and then leaving and starting over with a new young bride!? Why would he be to blame🙄?
@@begobolehsjwjangan2359 But he is the one that married a child, compared to his own old man age, used her, dumped her, and left her with 2 children, all in the name of "privileged tradition"! She was "a child" when he married her! That tradition is abusive to young girls, teens and women and should be outlawed!!!
The case of Kevin Sweat, and the Weleetka Oklahoma murders, is something I would like to see you cover. A tragic story , that didn't get a whole lot of coverage. Your peticular style of narration would do justice to the victims I think.
I was listening to the part near the end where she confessed, then lawyered up and changed her story, and I'm wondering if she may have thought she'd successfully killed her husband, then changed her story when she was told he was still alive....
im from kuwait and a big fan of you even before this video , you did the case correctly and stated all the fact , i salute you and looking forward more of your videos , looking at how can people act is horrifying and makes us look at our selves and how to become better understanding humans.
I remember this incident. I was living in Kuwait back then because my father used to work in a company there. I was 17 at the time and I recall how we got shocked when we heard the news. Specially because Kuweit is a very calm quiet country and you don't often hear about stuff like this there. The biggest shock was the number of innocent victims and the way they died. I couldn't find any excuses for Nasra because starting a fire is never a game. Arson is considered one of the most dangerous crimes in the world and here in America you can get 20 years in prison just for starting a fire even if it's in your own property and there's no casualties. So you can imagine the size of the crime when we talk about a fire that took the lives of 57 people.
