The versatile style of Ai Yazawa’s characters from NANA, Gokinjo Monogatari and Paradise kiss 

I tried my best to get the most accurate time periods in fashion that were incorporated in Ai Yazawa’s characters. I’m not very knowledgeable on fashion at all so I tried my best to do research on all of these. Just an fyi: I now know that sid and Nancy would go in the category of “70’s punk” because neither of them made it to the 90’s 💀 … I unfortunately can’t go back and re edit it out. I think Isabella from paradise kiss is more “gothic Victorian” because I couldn’t find a specific date for her outfits, so I just labeled it as “Victorian” 😅
