Got the Verums 1 this week and I love them. Danny kept me informed anytime I emailed or called him about ETAs. Very professional. Placed order in November last year and it seemed it will take forever. Will have to enjoy it for now until I splash again on the Verum 2. but frankly i am debating whether i can stand another wait. lol
Cruising around Texas in a yellow car, we're going to think you're Eddie Hill. I don't have a set of headphones and have thought about venturing into headphones. Prayers that they can live in peace again. Also some peoples comments are just amazing a good cause and a good product offering up a way that you're not taking a dime on it.
They look good and I bet they sound even better, but I believe it's illegal to drive with headphones on in some states. We have friends in Ukraine who would beg you not to say "the Ukraine" nowadays. That's what the Soviets called the region when it was part of the USSR. Since Ukraine became a sovereign nation, they would be offended by the preceding "the".
I do prefer open headphones, my first headphones was a closed Koss 444 AA but it harms my eardrum, later I got a Stax electrostatic sr-40 that sounded excellent but it made my ear sweat, then I fall in love with Sennheiser HD424 wao those were formidable and now a Grado SR60 which are very good for it's price, if you tell me this verum 2 are much better sounding than Sennheiser HD600 I will think on buy them
If you're willing to wait, either Verum is great value. The Grado's have a huge upper mid-lower treble boost which doubles as a hearing aid for speech but also have great midrange clarity.
@@1mctous There is nothing in 70 dollars that sounds like a Grado SR60, but I want the sound of a Sennheiser HD424 or better, those HD424 must be made for life, is like Canton speakers that their 1982 models sounded better than todays models so they have step backwards, they build in 1979 the Ergo that is the best sounding Canton ever, today's metal tweeter is pure garbage compared with that old silk dome tweeter that for me is one of the best tweeters I have heard
I know the first model and compaired it to the hd 600, the 600 kicked its ass, with much better mids an neutrality, also the bass was more to my liking. Needs good front end though.
2 minutes and 50 seconds in to the video you said theV1 sold for $159. I think you misspoke. Paid about $350 for V1 through you.???You need a little for yourself and import fees, but????
@@ReverendDr.Thomas I have 15 sets of headphones. Those are the 3 i enjoy listening to… verum1 is definitely the best by far. But eager to hear the verum2
Hey Dani, great video! Just curious: you said you let people at your gym listen to your headphones, but i didn't catch who the musician was, I swear you said Jennifer Lawrence. Was that right?
I want one. I will buy them from you when they ship. I would even do a kickstarter with GRResearch. I would gladly risk forfeiting the reward portion and risk having to pay full boat. But I can't risk the whole $350 evaporating. I've never done a kickstarter and don't know how this works. What is the risk? I can even wait the 6 months or so. Can you help me put my concerns to rest?
You risk everything with Kickstarter - legally it's not a store and no rewards are guaranteed. Personally, I have high faith into Igor, but that's just my feeling after ordering verum 1 from him.
"The US" has a history of saying it wrong and it wasn't an issue for decades so especially older folk will make the mistake not knowing what it refers to. Good to point out of course.
Please don't associate Bebop with these gym people! If they hadn't heard Jennifer Warne(pop), they most certainly would never have heard the genious of Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Bud Powell, Max Roach, Thelonious Monk, Oscar Pettiford etc.
I think he is a creator that is only human, made some comments that offended folks, came to a realization that it was wrong, apologized publicly and its up to each individual to decide what to make of the entire thing. What i dont get is folks trying to garner up group thinking that we should all treat him the same way bcos of past events. Everyone deserves a second chance in life. I can appreciate folks who dont want to support him. its their right but lets not try to follow him around whenever he is trying to earn an honest living. Those who have forgiven him have moved on. We are all not perfect
@@zTheBigFishz Before I bought it, it had taken a hit in the rear quarter panel that required new rear fenders and rear body panels. So why not just swap them out for the wide body? Yes, they swap right out.
In the end it is our site and you will hear about our products and the products that we sell. Stick around though and you might learn a few things too.
He did say some things several years ago that he caught some backlash over. He added a public apology for it on his site a couple of years ago. So I consider the matter closed. You can see that apology on his site: www.verum-audio.com/apology
I would say its just an honest mistake. Danny probably didn't realize that all his videos had to be tailored to your particular tastes. I'm sure that if you send him an email detailing your likes and dislikes, that he will mend his ways and henceforth only produce the kind of videos you demand (and so clearly deserve).
