Welcome to Canada’s largest city, and also busiest airport - Toronto! Toronto-Pearson saw 50 million passengers (2019) between its 2 terminals. The airport is also a major hub for many Canadian airlines like Air Canada, WestJet and Sunwing as well as an important international connection. Pearson has 5 runways which provides for some great perspectives. The airport is also home to the largest deicing pad facilities in the world. YYZ truly is a massive airport with lots of movements. The airport is noticeably busier than the last few years which is very exciting for the airport authority and airlines serving the city.
I have spotted here many times before, and I have always enjoyed my stay. This spotting trip was no different, with tons of wide bodies from all over the world - to busy cargo operations as well as some deicing. I do hope you Enjoy the very best of Toronto-Pearson!
