Kombi Life I want you to have you to go to an important business meeting that starts at 6:35 and the building closes at 6:36 and I want you to be there on time.
There's already good Tesla reviews out there already. Hell, after watching this I feel like you'll be better off watching me review my Tesla. I mean, Casey is usually real good at the whole chart game but this was pretty meh.
One of my favorite parts of Casey's videos is he never ask for a like or subscription... we aren't idiots we know what to do if we think you make good content. RU-vidrs take a lesson from one of the masters
4:15 People don't forget about Casey's standard (Look to his broken collection of cameras, drones, electric skateboards and etc to understand what I mean)
When trying to decide on a smartwatch, I think the first question should be what kind of phone and other gear do you plan to use with it. While all the smartwatches have great features...without the ecosystem...are they really that beneficial? As a MacBook, iPhone, and iPad user...the Apple Watch is the only smartwatch I considered. Simply because of the ecosystem.
boko I partially agree but I’m still using Apple products despite the shitty battery life, disregard of customer needs with MacBooks (like sd card slot and more ports) also the Apple logo in the back is not lightening anymore and the innovations are really slow... (remember how much you had to wait for a water resistant iPhone ?) but windows made me run away from that and a Mac just works better.. so no real competition out there... Samsung has a very good marketing but I will not use Samsung. I hope one day Steve jobs will resurrect and make iPhone great again :D lol
The ecosystem itself is a product for your day to day life. The power users are a very small niche group that no company can become huge servicing. Apple has their line of professional products that make up some small percent of their overall business and then they make the bulk of their money with lifestyle products for an audience that is 200 times larger than the pros. This isn't anything remotely new for the company. Their biggest growth has been in the consumer market. That is why the company is 200 times larger today than it was 20 years ago. Its why Chevrolet makes way more money from their everyday cars and trucks vs their high end corvette.
My all time favorite is the Pebble. Apple and Android, 7 days battery life, weather, speech to text, and cheap. It still works like a dream after the company shut down thanks to a team of ex-devs that made their own servers and picked up where pebble left off.
A Snake being able to play music on my iPhone and listen on my AirPods while adjusting the volume on my Apple Watch the getting a call and answering it on my watch the whole time I’m sending iMessages on my MacBook Pro....ecosystem means a lot to me.
@Sushant S Nair I think the bezel is plastic so it's easier to grip on and turn it around. Also, it is for sure the best smartwatch for androids. It could be the best for iOS too, (I personally like the galaxy watch more than the apple watch).
I use the Fitbit Versa because I used to be an athlete. Battery can last 4 days but I usually charge it every 2 and a half days. No GPS so you'll have to bring your phone if you want super accurate distance, pace, and map data, but you don't have to bring it if you want fairly accurate distance and pace based on your stride length. The interface can be changed with a few different third party watch faces but I only found one that I REALLY liked that has four different colors. HR senor is really accurate, although steps can easily be triggered just by waving or something. Calories are displayed as well and that's helpful. You can download a very limited few apps. I only have two and that's a little circle game and an app that turns on the max brightness in pure white sort of like a flashlights that's very user friendly. In my opinion it's a really good watch, I just wished they tweaked the auto screen wake option a little and that the battery lasted lasted at least 5 days. Worst part was is not having a GPS lol.
I love my Garmin! I don’t have a Fenix but my forerunner 235 works great for me for telling me the time, running, Heart rate, and occasionally for notifications when my phone is in my pocket and am having a conversation with someone. I have considered an Apple Watch to wear for more leisurely but I don’t want to charge the thing everyday and really don’t know what I would need all the extra for when I already have an iPhone. Just another distraction I don’t need. PLUS, the Apple Watch doesn’t sync with strava?! Whack...
You saved me 10 minutes of my life. Thank you. Also I appreciate your opinion on which smart watch is the best, I will accept your opinion. Have a good day.
@@jasoncoffee if you have iphone, apple watch. If you have android, galaxy watch. If you just want a fitness watch, garmin. If you just want to tell time, a regular watch.
Apple Watch really isn’t the best for most people.. it sounds amazing if you’ve never had one but once you do you realize how few of the features u really use daily.. a cheaper fitness watch is all most people really need
Currently running a Fossil Marshal and I am in love with it. As someone outside the Apple ecosystem, it works fantastic with my phone and is quite stylish to boot. One year in and it still runs fantastically!
When you said that the Samsung watch is better, Siri on my Apple Watch came on and said,' Sorry can you please say that again'. One of the funniest moments of my life! To leave a comment on the topic of the video, I like the Apple Watch Series 2. The Series 2 Apple Watch is very nice in my opinion. It's not outdated (yet) and it's waterproof, durable, and most importantly reliable! I have the Apple Watch Series 1 as of right now. The watch is a good watch. It's not the best but for a watch, however, it is pretty good at telling time, that's for sure! Oh, and congrats on 10 million Casey! I have been here since I would say early 2013 to late 2013. Been here for the long haul man! Love what you do and keep up the great work man.
I have the Galaxy Watch LTE Version and did a battery drain test using strictly LTE and always on display and was very impressed! I love my Galaxy Watch! Awesome review Casey👍👍
Much Respect Casey.. When I question what the Present Time has to offer I look for another individual that is open minded and thinks all spectrums threw. You create a mind set of "what will make me happiest in the end with out others being effected in a negative way by it.. Keeping it Real.. 'I like!"
@@saicharannattam2396 well I can't say I disagree with OP...but then again...I was only looking for specific info and not the chart...I got a good amount of info from this but I'm still not sure which to choose....have had Fitbit's for a while now...sick of my Blaze...battery is shot...can replace, but do I want to spend time on it (money is nothing for a battery on eBay)? Should I go Garmin or Samsung? I use iPhone but I won't jump on that bandwagon...battery fucking sucks compared to everything else. Probably going back to Android after this phone anyway (my 3rd iPhone...currently XS....been less and less impressed with Apple these past couple years).
What I really want in a smart watch is something that tracks my health, not my positive health as growing, but tells me of health problems. Like an irregular heart rate, or if I have not been sleeping enough, or if my heart rate has been elevated for too long too many hours or days in a row, or anything beyond that.
Man this shows you how much these famous youtubers worth nothing in the absence of their video editors That’s why I give preps to RU-vidrs that edit their own videos
oh man I have the series 3 and im defiantly upgrading mine. the huge difference for you will be speed upgrading. then your looking at 50meters for 30 min underwater, LTE, ECG (electrocardiogram) detects heard rhythm. Siri talks to you and is now 50% louder on the series 4. you get 16gb of internal storage and the whole back is made of ceramic not just the sensor. New haptics when using the crown, fall detection, new accelerometers that can detect what kind of workout your doing to automatically begin recoding the workout instead of you having to start it yourself. bigger screen that curves to the edge like the iPhone X and up which allows you to add more complications to make the watch even ore useful. I would defiantly recommend upgrading to the series 4 you will not regret it. lol hope that explains the majority of whats new and not to forget it will be thinner too.
Good Taste and Grace yes! That's what I upgraded from! Design and function are soooo much better. It's way faster, especially if you get cellular. The screen looks so modern with the thinner bezels. Definitely worth the upgrade imo.
Sorry but a proper ECG machine hooks you usually on 12 leads all around your chest and limbs; I wouldn't trust a watch to do that. As for just looking to a general heart rhythm, my Samsung Galaxy does that already but on a slightly controlled situation only and measures Oxygen saturation as well (not sure how accurate they are though). For the other stuff, I don't know. Upgrade if you have the money for it I'd say. But as a general rule of thumb, usually the immediate next generation is not a far cry from the previous. So if it's still working as intended, probably wait at least for the second next edition for an upgrade.
Missed one column, price :) Also too bad he hadn't get his hands on Amazefit bip, I use that, shows all notifications, does gps and hearthrate for workout and battery goes over a month. Oh, and display is ofcourse always on, like a watch should have. Cost? 50-75 bucks.
Good morning from cologne , Germany I'm still really happy with my Huawei Watch From unpacking the watch out of its box that's looking like a one your jeweler would sell too or just enjoying the Google Wear OS ecosystem It's a first gen smart Watch, but unlike the watches from Motorola , fossil and so on from this early generation, the Huawei Watch comes with a complete round display Usually the have a black bar at the bottom of the round display that hides sensors and so on The Huawei Watch looks like a real watch and by changing your watchface and/or wrists , the look could change everytime and fits to my personal needs And it's not true that only a Apple watch can go well with an iPhone You can receive notifications on your Google Wear OS Watch even when it's paired to an iOS device And since it's OS changes a few months ago to Wear OS , you'll run most apps autarky by downloading directly from Google play store on the watch There's only one thing I do miss from my Apple watch I used before (with iPhone in ~ 2015) : The heart rate sensor / HRS Software The Huawei Watch does also come packed with such a sensor but it's really not competitive enough While a Apple watch or newer smartwatch generations with better sensors delivers continuous measurements all day with really high accuracy in even bad situations (sweating, raining, hot or cold ..), the Huawei Watch takes reeeeaaaally long measurements that often don't work at all It's not the hell on Earth but it's also not as consumer friendly as e.g. Apple is It's time to get a new watch maybe early 2019 I'mwriting this long comment to improve my english but also because U totally missed testing a Wear OS watch . U can not promote any of those watches without comparing to Wear OS 🤗
i can't believe it too ...... galaxy eco system ? that worst than any underground market which almost nothing work out of the box and all of them is premium app (paid), that why i sold it in less than a week ...
You gave Samsung a bad ecosystem cause it work better with Android (still somewhat works with apple) and gave apple the best ecosystem but doesn't work with Android , umm what?
Apps and accessories are the best I mean I’m not an “isheep” but let’s be honest they are simple and actually very good to use I have one (series 3), also depends on which phone you have just buy the watch that goes with that company so you can get the most out of the watch.
@@potz26 exactly, if you have a Apple iPhone why would you buy a galaxy watch, vice versa, I have a galaxy s10+, when I got my galaxy watch I didn't go into the store looking for any smartwatch they had, I was specifically looking for the watch that would sync with my phone with a push of a button. I'm not gonna fight over witch is best, I would say buy what you want to spend your money on, just make sure it works in lock step with the phone you own.
