Bulma invented the dragon radar. In the manga, she tells Goku when that she originally found them at her dads place and based the design on them. Funny enough, I never hear anyone talk about how Dr. Briefs just casually had two dragon balls in his closet, I've always wanted to know how they got there

The turtle is a reference to Gamera, a fire breathing turtle of Japanese Monster films. In the Manga & Japanese version: -Buruma reacts to Oolong’s identical double of her as being stunned by this beauty- emphasizing her self absorbed personality. -Oolong is letting Roshi snuggle into his “breasts”. In SUPER, Oolong comments this as a traumatizing experience. -Chichi’s last comment to Goku has her telling him that when they are older, her father will make her his bride. Goku thinks this is food and promises to come back for this “bride”.

So obviously this had to be censored but the promise Bulma made Roshi for putting out the fire was to let him touch her chest, but Oolong took it a step further and let him bury his face in them instead, and another thing is when Chi-Chi is talking to Goku she asks him to Marry her, and Goku thinking its food agrees.

Bulma created the dragon radar, and the time machine. She's the smartest, but I think her father, Dr. Brief, is a scientist and he's very intelligent. He made the spaceship in which Goku traveled to Namek to fight Frieza. Then, he created another spaceship for Vegeta in which he could train in 300 times more gravity than Earth. Later on, he built a room, not a spaceship, in which Vegeta could train fighting those weird metal drones in the gravity room. So, Dr. Brief is very smart.

Come to think of it, Goku was trained in his childhood by Roshi's #1 pupil and rival, the one who gave him the toughest fight, the great warrior Gohan. Sure Gohan must've had some basics of Kamehameha put into Goku.

This is actually a really good subtle moment of growth for both Bulma & Oolong. In transforming into Bulma, Oolong, in getting his revenge here, starts to empathize with her after experiencing how guys like Roshi (and by extension himself) treat her. And Bulma literally sees herself engage in lewd activities and starts to understand that it isn't wise to tease, taunt, or manipulate men in this way. I also know why the Kamehameha wave put out the fire, but that's a long one. If you ever see this (Beris or Maddison) and wants to know, just ask.

Fighting fire with fire is actually a phrase that has some truth to it. Precision explosions are sometimes used to suffocate fires. Master Roshi's Kamehameha was the same principle

19:20 This wasn't really the intended dialogue between Goku and Chi Chi. In the manga, Chi Chi was saying if at some time when they get older, his dad will ask Goku to marry her. And Goku is just not getting it thinking something else different.

Spoilers below. Yes. This is the dialogue where Goku agrees to have Chi Chi be his bride while thinking a bride is some kind of food. A misunderstanding which is addressed in the last arc of Dragon Ball. I don't know why the dialogue was changed in the dub, that does not make sense when Chi Chi asks again about the promise.

The Kamehameha is a Kibeam. In Dragonball, the whole world, everything is filled with Ki. The Stones, Fire, Air, Flowers, Humans, Animals, Water. Everything. If you unleash now a huge Kibeam or Blast and can control the Ki, you be able to control that fire, because the Kiblast is draining all the Ki out of the fire. On the other side, you can create fire with your Ki. Its a question of control

Turtle🐢 school, actually, never taught flying or any sort of levitating techniques...Those belong to the school of Crane 🦩 style, the one Tien and Chiatsu belonged. Judging from the manga, Turtle school basically focused on progressive overload strength training with one signature move Kamehameha ironically different to the weightless and inner chi harness or regulation techniques of Crane style...like Dodon ray, tri beam, clone techniques etc 😊😊😊i suck at explaining!! The creature that Master Roshi summoned is Baby Gamera. Of course if you have no idea where and how and why is Roshi using this creature for transportation, Toriyama doesn't know either 😂😂. He just wanted to put it there. But Gamera is actually a popular character in the Japanese film industry where he is a titan competing for popularity against Godzilla. The Gamera movie franchise is actually a big competitor for the Godzilla franchise. As for Roshi saying it in English Dub as Gamela (in the manga he actually said Gamera) is to actually avoid a copyright or something for the use of Gamera's name.

Master Roshi doesnt fly because you'll see later ,so I wont spoil it but this is Toriyama in his parody mode , Yamucha is suppose to be a parody of the chinese beautiful mysterios guy with long hair that all girls want , its ironic in dragon ball , Roshi is suppose to be a wise hermit but the twist is that he is a big pervert ,I think Toriyama took inspiration from rumors of old guys fondiling young girls in trains. Roshi flies with a baby gamera a parody of Gamera monster usually following the succes or Godzilla ,so its less known

I do love how chichi and goku act together as kids, but all things considered I would have wished for bulma and goku to end up together and have chichi with vegeta. Chichi should have remained a fighter and joined the team and ended up falling for vegeta or something. Bulma and Goku being best friends and falling in love together would have been so nice. And yeah don't underestimate yamcha he might not look like that strong but he's very strong considering that he's a human remember the spaceship in which vegeta trained in 300 times. Gravity to become super saiyan just like goku. Yamcha saw this and he entered the spaceship and he tried the same although he can't do it but still he survived 300 times gravity for few minutes that's a great thing 😊 by the way he did that to maybe show bulma that he's strong just like vegeta but he can't compete 🫠 and bulma ends up with Vegeta im happy for them they are perfect for each other but what about yamcha 💔 😢 they did yamcha so bad they made him a fool he's one of the Z fighters he's very experienced and i think he can defeat goten and trunks present because they don't train and they are kids 😅

Goku figured out in 5 seconds the Kamehameha, something that usually takes years to learn... but in DBS people were losing their minds when Kaulifla figured out how to be Super Saiyan in 5 seconds. 😆 That's what happens when you haven't seen the original DB... and probably not paying attention to DBZ because little Trunks and Goten also figured out Super Saiyan transformation in 5 seconds, not only that, they did it as little children and without any help. That's just what saiyans do, and had always been like that throughout all the different series, they master stuff fast. 🤷🏻‍♂️
