lol other than that non inverting cobra roll i thought it was just as good as i expected, and its only 4 seconds slower than the animated pov by intamin, and ppl thought that the speed was fake in that, plus its under the conditions u said, just goes to show how good this rides pacing is

@@MillenniumForceMan Yeah . I wish we had a better view of the test so we could actually see most of the elements, but I agree that the only element that looked really slow was the cobra roll. Also when I timed it, it was 8 seconds slower than the animated pov by intamin so idk what happened there lol

@@TB_2006 yeah it lost 2 seconds in the cobra roll, which is the only element i didnt feel like it hauled thru, but the section it seemed like it went the fastest thru was the ending, which we only got to see a part of

It somehow went full on Steel Vengeance/Twisted Timbers lift at the top lol

@@0z3r0 On a testing Intamin coaster this is normal. A lot of stress was put on the lift hill- The mechanisms preventing this probably haven't been fully programmed yet. Happy Christmas!!!

The loud lift hill is most likely just for testing, as the mechanisms preventing too much stress on the lift hill probably haven't been completely programmed yet- the cause of the noise is stress from the anti-rollback leaving the lift hill too fast. Happy Christmas!!!

Yes there are houses nearby, that's the main reason why they enclosed their Schwarzkopf Shuttle Loop for example

You put normaly slower/higher frictions wheels on a coaster during the first tests. Thats pretty common - at least in Europe.

Didn’t see any sand dummies so the trains were probably way lighter too

Wheel Greace and bearings be cold in wheels will need warm up to free up the rotations thats prob why its a bit slow 😁

@@micjubba709 Yes. European parks will change the grease type in Winter to stop it from freezing. This type of grease, while not freezing, does create more friction, slowing the rotations.

@@rollercoasterryan7816 Merry Christmas to you too. RMCs are flying in February tho so idk. Even some past intamins have had insane first test runs. I don't know if it's fair to use Skyrush as an example but I'll do it anyway. Idk, we'll see. I think it's definitely get better for sure but this just looks atrocious based on what I expected.

@@sprawlz6466 Definitely. I think it may have to do with the location, as Belgium is usually quite cold in Winter. Also, I have researched this and found that some European coasters have their wheel type changed at Winters, as the common grease would freeze. This means the rides would run massively slower than with the normal wheels and grease, which could explain the slowness in this case. Did you know that bolliger and mabillard gave two types of wheel assembly to liseberg for Valkeria- One for normal use and one for Winter.

@@sprawlz6466 I can say as a ride operator for two years at a big American park, temperature, conditions and wheel type (softer/harder polyurethane) will make dramatic differences in the the speed of the ride. Also, as a general rule new (bigger) coasters warm up even more towards the end of the first season and then into the second or third where it "breaks in completely" and generally starts hitting its average speeds, while still generally getting a bit faster as the seasons progress from there on out. So the first test of a newly built ride in the cold of Belgium will almost always be slowest unless they have another reason to try make it otherwise, like if they're concerned about a potential spot to valley for example. Most rides run best at the end of summer to whenever weather starts getting nice. Fun fact, because RMC uses flat "road rails" (I-box/I-beam style track) for their road wheels, they generally have less friction especially with their new swing axle trains and are also obviously designed to just rip over airtime hills and whatnot... so that's why they often seem a lot faster in earlier tests.
