The Vessel Empowering the University of Miami's Marine Research 

Named after the Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric, and Earth Science’s founder, the F.G. Walton Smith explores reefs, mangroves, and grass beds. It can accommodate up to 19 people in its 10 staterooms. The 96-foot-long, 40-foot-wide watercraft also has 800 square feet of laboratory space and an additional 950-square-foot, multiuse area.
