However…… The non-official United Nations geoscheme for the Americas defines Central America as all states of mainland North America south of the United States, hence grouping Mexico as part of Central America for statistics purposes, but historically and politically Mexico is considered North American. I’m also covertly making an argument that the Mayan people which are found scattered across the riviera maya all the way into El Salvador are themselves are an unofficial grand ethnic state. Similar to how Guyana is not geographically in the Caribbean but is pretty much the flagship nation of Caricom.

-Mexicans tell me that it is different than the rest of Mexico. - People are nice, I have never had THAT feeling here, no issues at All - Everyone says the same 2 things about the Yucatán, tranquilo and Mucho Calor -it’s not as inexpensive as you would hope and think -there’s a lot more, but over all, Merida is a great place to Live

@@KeenanLambert198 I dunno Keenan. I was lucky enough to have a Cuban brother with a wide circle of friends, family and acquaintances to know the norms. I mean from the neigbour stealing chicken meant for university dormitories to a friend making, selling/exporting illegal cigars (with a Mexican) for sale in the Mexican resorts, to hustlers paying their (daily) wages to their boss to mark them present for work so that they could go earn more hustling. All Cubans are struggling, I don't need/want to see the lowest end struggle as it is heartbreaking.
