Hi guys! Thanks so much for supporting this video! I actually have a much longer podcast episode about the “victoria monet effect’ if you all are interested, here is the link: open.substack.com/pub/filmdork/p/episode-1-the-victoria-monet-effect?r=ged90& Thanks so much for all of your support
And now losers are calling Sabrina an industry plant “because she came out of nowhere and she’s being pushed on us by everyone”, meanwhile she’s been releasing music for a decade and has 5 albums out. These women have taken years to perfectly craft their sound and artistic identity, and that’s why they seem more confident than the girlies who blew up early in their career, and they’re also harder to describe using other artists (for example: people often describe Olivia Rodrigo as being like Haley from Paramore or Avril Lavigne, while they use Sabrina Carpenter, Victoria Monet and Tinashe as describing words for other artists)
Also sabrina has remained strong since she was a literal child and people are sooo wrong to think she came out of nowhere...girl has a passion for music and has always been putting so much effort
@@Sandwich66133For real it's so obvious that she isn't an industry plant. she actually has an image , an audience built through her hard work , an identity and fro sure talent. I don't like her and I'm not really a fan but no one can deny her hard work and talent
Since i was a child , i was hoping Sabrina would get the recognition that she deserves...im so glad people now know her and her fanbase is expanding but her albulms since debut are sincerely so good and heartwarming, i hope her new fans do not leave them unnoticed
fr there are so many good songs from her old albums that I hope eventually get their time in the spotlight such as Sue Me, Looking At Me, and Exhale. And as someone who's been a fan of Sabrina since 2018, it makes me so happy to see her finally get the recognition she deserves.
I've been a fan of Tinashe and Sabrina for so long as a fan of them both I had wished this huge amount of success for them because I recognize their talents and potential for so long but it's annoying how some people want to call them industry plants like do people not realized that there are thousands of artists out there who are underrated who been in the music industry for years but has yet to get the recognition or have huge commercial success I think people forget how huge the music industry is
Love this message... it's truly something I need to be reminded of and for all the dreamers out there as well pursuing a big goal ... to never stop showing up for that finish line. It will come
If you’re interested I actually have a video on Tinashe’s backstory from years ago on my channel, here’s the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Hx7Grt8Hzg0.htmlsi=RuDD_Z2bPGAfgn1u
