Thank you for posting these episodes. I have enjoyed them immensely learning wisdom from our gardening predecessors. Beautiful gardens and Harry is so easy going and knowledgeable.
Memories of this wonderful series lingered on from the late 80s - both the gardens, the techniques and the music. I have long wanted to revisit it and am loving it all over again. Yesterday I tracked down the clarinetist, Emma Johnson, who must have been in her early 20s when the programme was made. She now has a very distinguished career behind her and has recorded the Victorian Flower Garden theme music - which I have dowloaded online.
The idea came from felt mills it was used by two men to trim felt fluff before it got steam pressed for billers tables etc much like the bamford hay cutter but that was larger and pulled by horse
I watched that many years ago on Dailymotion, it might still be there. Here it is, first episode then the others are there too. 👍 Victorian Kitchen Garden www.dailymotion.com/video/x5mpc6t Victorian Kitchen trakt.tv/shows/the-victorian-kitchen/seasons/1/episodes/1
@@carolineg1872 Thank you for posting the links! Dailymotion does indeed have the Victorian Kitchen Garden, all but one episode. But unfortunately the Victorian Kitchen is not available on the other link. Do you know where else it may be found, or where to find DVD's of all this wonderful series? Thank you for your time.
