I promise I am not some kind of ultra-liberal stick in the mud. Alyssa's choice was tone-death. She is not shy about repping she is Arab American, and apparently has always loved the idea of Disney's Middle Eastern princess. She has at the same time spent the past several weeks minimizing the disproportionate suffering of the Palestinian people since the war began. If you watch the view you know what I mean.

@@ijm1261 It's just this weird obsession Americans in particular have with connecting to people on superficial matters. I've traveled all over the world and no matter where I go "Friends" is the most popular. Egypt, India, Argentina, ...they just love it. 6 white people in New York City who don't represent the vast majority of the world and, yet, the world loves them. Why? Because they relate to characters on a HUMAN level. My buddy Marwan feels he's just like Joey Tribbiani because he's a ladies man and also a bit goofy. Joey didn't have to be an Arab or a Muslim in order for Marwan to connect to him. But apparently Jasmine had to be an Arab to connect to Alyssa. It's very bizarre... especially since Jasmine isn't nearly as popular in the Middle East as Belle or Ariel or Elsa and Anna.

They strongly disencouraged me to go trick or treating at Mar-a-Lago dressed as Laetitia James, Jack Smith or judge Engoron, so I oranged myself up and went as Trump: "grab or cheat". I didn't get as much candy as I had hoped for. Explanation: Trump doesn't scare people any longer (scary) or (and you can call me Brigitte Bardot and spank me (oh yeah) if I'm wrong) Trump's popularity is on the decline. This year the Halloween show was so miscast. Sunny as Carl Fredriksen?? She was so lost behind that old man’s mug. Would have made a much better Cruella, evil, sultry. Joy doesn’t have the right body to pull it off. And are we supposed to think a headless horseman can travel along a busy New York sidewalk and NO ONE even looks? I wasn’t born yesterday.

Frightening… I was in my mid-20s when I worked on this show… And the View cast was old then. Star Jones in LA said the set looked like a Taco Bell. That was funny. I worked very hard on that set.
