Yes, I taught children all my life---and taught those in tough and impoverished neighborhoods--doing what I could both during school and after school for them. It was a wonderful life. Though I love mothers, too, I really couldn't have done all this if I had my own to care for as well.

@@blackdove5940 First of all your statement is extremely misleading. Slavery has never been voluntary such as the work programs in California prisons....and they definitely have never been paid. Secondly, Kamala Harris was shocked when she read about her lawyers keeping non-violent prisoners from California's overcrowded prisons in jail because the state wanted to keep them as a labor force. She looked into it and directed the department's attorneys not to make that argument again.

My daughter and son-in-law adopted 2 children and my son-in-law has a child from a previous relationship. That means my daughter has no biological children. Guess what? Sarah Huckabee Sanders needs to be concerned about how her children turn out. Children listen to how parents talk or treat other people. You never know what situation your children may be in one day. And if you can raise that one go get another one. We don’t need any more kids. We need the ones that we currently have to have a Home with parents. So, I guess monks, priests, and nuns do not have anything to make them humble. Yes, children can keep us humble. There are many ways to be humbled. I never wanted to have kids and do not feel one bit less than women who do. After all, I am not contributing to the overpopulation of the earth. And, as a lesbian woman, I never had to worry about losing custody of my children. At the same time, I have the deepest respect for mothers because parenting is the hardest job of all.
