The Village Blacksmith (poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow) 

When I was first beginning to love poetry as a teenager, I set a lot of famous words to music. This is Longfellow’s “The Village Blacksmith” such a treat of a poem… I put it to this tune when I was probably 15 or 16. And here I am finally recording it at 40!
