In this vlog we are out in Joseses farm to help him plant yaqona. Since it was going to be an all day job, Josese and the boys brought the pot to the farm so they could cook lunch in the farm.
The boys and Josese are showing us a dish that village farmers in our village cook to eat when they are out in the farm because this dish is fast to cook, healthy and gives you full stomach.
They show us how they harvest the taro leaves, how they boil it and what else can go in the pot with the taro leaves. To go with it they cook the breadfruit on the open fire as it is breadfruit season in Moturiki Island.
