The village of walton outside wakefield 1971. 

Lived in Walton from 1975 ..used to go to the club on a Friday night cos it was a family disco..got married and moved to kettleThorpe in 1988..my mum still lives in Walton..

Left Walton in 76 to live in Australia, wow what a great film, my big sister is even in it as a little girl, made my day :)

Amazing! My parents still live in the village (2017) and I recognise many old friends from the Junior School. I'd be seven at the time this was filmed. Haigh's was the Post Office and what is now the post office was a Sweet Shop and Newsagent + a terraced home......I'd completely forgotten about the Cash Stores on Oakenshaw lane.

I only lived in Walton between for 5 years between 84 and '89. I loved the place - so many people, and memories treasured from school and more. I truly think of it as the village I grew up

This is fab :) Before my time as I wasn't born until 1980 but the village looked the same while I was growing up :)

This brought back loads of childhood memories, just seen my dads old van in it

Brought back lots of funny memories, saw our mum carrying british legion standard Nell Haigh also Dad's shop, Helen n Alan Haigh

My wife and I got married in 1968 and moved to Elmwood Drive in1970 - it was our first house and our first baby son was bon there
