That last chord should have Fs instead of Es. Not sure what the chord symbol would be, F seems most obvious out of context but the effect is a D minor chord without the root.
If you like James Newton Howard, you should take a look at "The Village" (also sometimes called "It's Deserted") from King Kong (2005). JNH really is a master, and criminally underrated
Request! “Panaka and the Queen’s Protectors” from The Phantom Menace. I’ve never really seen the film and I don’t know the content of the track but I love it a lot.
Oh, come on, this is one of the easiest scores you can find :) www. docdroid. net/ tV6PJkB/ john-williams-superman-theme-full-score-pdf I added gaps on purpose because links are automatically blocked
Oh, sorry, you meant the condensed one. I can send Williams' orchestral sketch of the march: https: //disk. yandex. ru /d/ VdeElbIpFZ93v/ John Williams/ 1978 - Superman/Complete Scetches/068 March from SUPERMAN. pdf
Am I wrong or is the rhythm of the solo violin from bar 7 (and all the same figures) incorrect? To my ear it should be each beat divided into sextuplets playing 8th, 16th, 16th, 16th, 16th
@@jb1980ist sure, but at the same time imagine how difficult it would be to play the rhythm perfectly and "machine-like" for so long. So yes, sometimes it does sound a bit more like the other commenter suggested, but as a whole I find it's very much as written.
I wonder if they encouraged her to lean into it, honestly. It gives it this sense of yearning and passion that it wouldn't have otherwise had. I'm listening to it I always thought the rhythm was written straight with a tenuto or something on that note. It's unforgettable music
ummm...i think you wanted to comment on some minimalist composer perhaps. howard is no minimalist. he is more in the old-school melodic composers camp... like john barry for example ... whether he writes on a computer or a paper i dunno
