My recommendation would be to make a movie that illustrates and emphasizes the incredible percentage of time most Villages spend out of doors. The health benefit data of doing so is unequivocal. Your movie could help TV corporate update their brand accordingly. Best of luck!

You should contact Rusty Nelson, he was in film making as well as a very good photographer. He has a villages YT channel & seems like a nice guy. We haven’t made it there yet so unfortunately I can’t help.

I have met Rusty at the Sawgrass market last year. He is a good guy as we both share the enjoyment of making videos.

My idea would be showing someone new moving in then a period of time later, then again. This would be very brief segments which could highlight how one transitions and picks of a variety of activities.

I have been testing out auto captions to use in vidoes and you should see the autocorrect caption issues especially when I say people’s name.

I don't live in the Villages (or even FL -- at least not yet), but I don't think it's even possible to have too many videos on The Villages showing how it is on a daily/real-life/live-there ("boots on the ground") basis. And a quality movie-length production is even better. Consequently, please accept at least my "moral support" for your project and I DO hope you not only pursue it, but also have success with it. -- BR

I’m not necessarily a big fan of lengthy productions about the villages. Hi David from Hamburg, New York here. My dream would be to move to the villages, but I don’t know if I could ever convince the wife. I enjoy watching active videos weekly or even biweekly. I’m not after big productions. It’s seeing the sunlight and happy smiling faces and restaurants and parks and walks and golf cart rides in and around the neighborhood. You asked for input and I hate to break your heart, but I like nice productions but short and frequent an hour long or so is fine with me. All my best to you, Gary David.

Thanks for watching my videos. If I was you, I would setup a lifestyle visit in the future and use it as a vacation. Then see what your wife thinks. My wife loves riding around in the golf cart on her own.

Will you interview? If not it’s going to need to be very scripted. As a photographer I can tell you most people freeze on camera and have no idea what to say. So please factor that into the story line. Love this idea! I’m in Boston and moving to TV in two weeks. Woo hoo! Now begins the process of choosing a home.
