@@ilianamartinez4787 it was actually very common in those times for noble families to marry other members of their family. It was meant to "keep the blood clean" as they would say. So siblings or cousins would commonly get married. Even parents whose spouse had died would sometimes get remarried to one of their children to keep the bloodline going. I know nowadays it sounds weird but in those days it happened more then you would think and everyone just accepted it.

Is there a reason why so many of these channels constantly mix up characters, names, pronouns, and narration POVs? It's extremely confusing. Are they just making AI summaries and posting them?
I like this story but I hate that the narrator keeps changing the name of lead character in almost every sentence. It’s so confusing when you call her Evelyna, Evelyn and Edith. A little consistency would be appreciated.
I think cliff is the author and the original Lise turned him down… and died somehow. So the story happens so he can press her soul into a book like a flower - where he makes her happy - over and over again at the cost of an Edith’s life.

I used to think the same with recap channels but then I realized something that may help, when recap channels say “full” they mean that the recap is up to date to include all the released chapters, when the say “completed” or “full story” then it means it has the entirety of the story in the recap. Just trying to help because I was confused by these labels for a while and it might save you some time.

Does this make any sense that the mc is beaten, bullied and starved in her husband's house by the maid, she should just kick out the maid and beat the maid
A true good person, especially one who was starved for friendship, would have been knocking on the MC's door the moment she knew the MC was free, and she would have been sticking to her and making all sorts of plans to spend more time together. The fact that she did not do that shows the original MC is a white lotus.
Starting to wonder if the older brother Cliff isn't actually a villain. Something about him seems off. Several times he says or does something malicious. I'm hoping Elise doesn't get manipulated into being evil. She's too naive and has no life experience. She's used to being the center of attention in the family and Edith is taking away some of that attention.
