It’s almost like he’s so normal that Howard’s usual approach doesn’t work. Vinnie explains everything perfectly as a loser and self deprecating and fully aware this is hilarious at his expense. This is how you laugh with Howard instead of being laughed at
Vinnie surprisingly has more game than Gary. A. He married the girl from the tape.He even met her from a wrong number B.He was the vice president lol Gary’s still the producer
As an amazing how technology the internet has changed. The way we communicate now, everybody's accessible. No more video tapes, audio tapes, letters. We just text her message or video. Call our phone call.
Vinnie was a co-founder of Comedy Central! 😮 Along with working on Letterman since '82, he must've had some $$$ to snag Debbie, w/his personality, looks, & creepiness.
There's another set that they play when Vinnie got caught recording some of his music in Howard's studio. It somehow manages to be even creepier than these tapes
He was the CBS "Late Night Liaison" when Howard had a Saturday night show on CBS in the late 90s/early 2000s. As far as being interesting... that's a judgement call. Howard must've thought so.
Does anyone know what happened to Vinnie? He was a regular caller and guest, even sat in the Jackie chair during the "in-between" period. It seems like he just disappeared all of a sudden. And when somebody disappears from the show, there's always a story behind it.
I know he got me too'd, but he disappeared from the show before then. Once they went to satellite, he stopped coming around as much. Probably had something to do with CBS not wanting him on satellite. KROC was a CBS affiliate
