I was invited to come look at a fella's collection. He was looking to downsize. The pictures he sent did NOT do this pick justice! I couldn't believe it when the silver age comics started coming out.

Commenting again, I don't own one vintage toy.. a matter of fact all the toys you have are nearly twice my age ahah. But I can't say it enough how much I enjoy these videos and love looking at the toys & finds. This RU-vid genre is totally out of my realm and interests, but you are one of my favorite youtubers to watch. I think that says something! Keep doing you Anthony :)

I'm in my 60s and only last year managed to get a toy my parents weren't happy to buy me, its an original Johnny Seven One man army gun and its pride of place in my home officer 🙂

Your comic book rack is a great display! The biggest problem with comics besides the vast quantity is that no-one is able to display them properly to show off the front cover. They usually stuffed in boxes making it overwhelming to dig through or hard to sell.

@@FroggyFlips Hey froggy I don't have Instagram but how can I contact u in have a bunch of Tmnt, GI Joe, X-Men,Ghostbusters toys ,vehicles, bases and just miscellaneous memorabilia like turtles watches,marbles Ghostbusters telephone just an idea of what I'm talking about from when I was a spoiled rotten kid... Im needing to get rid of them and would love them to go to someone like u. I can send u some pics of the stuff and can see if its anything u would be interested in. I also have a bunch of the 99s star wars which I know isn't every collectable I kinda swapped to sports cards and stuff I'm the 90s like 96 so anything before then I probably have technkdrone,sewer,blimp pizza shooter ,gi Joe bases vehicles ,X-Men blackbird,sentinels ,playsets, echto1 the proton pack and gun the ghost trap ,tmnt masks with the pads and weapon with the nose attached if its something I wouldn't mind checking out lmk how I can get in touch... I was the type.of .kid that collected and didn't go hardcore on my toys my friend and I would spend hrs picking which characters we would have and never play cuz it'd be hrs of arguing who got wolverine or dead pool

I'm over in the UK. We don't really have yard sales over here. The nearest we have are carboot sales. But me and my daughter decided to buck the trend and held our first yard sale last weekend, all inspired by your videos. You do a great job. You are really fair and genuine. Thanks for posting. Yard sales do happen in U.K in the summer to be fair you often see people just sell random stuff from their drives but it’s not as common as usa, as you say boot sales are the only real thing close which in comparison may aswell be a flea market

So how did your sale go? It’s crazy bc I’m the states we have to get a permit that good for 3 days and we can only get two a year! Something about taxes and to many cash sales ! Perhaps you could start a fad!

Growing up outside of America, i've noticed that i mostly don't know all of these vintage toys and comics but seeing your passion and treasure hunting makes me realize that you don't have to know everything to enjoy things... The lines are blurred more than most people imagine. It becomes a lifestyle. Buy some, keep some, sell some…buy more than you want to recoup some cost…trade up from starter pieces…

Having stumbled upon your videos, I took a shot at watching one on a rainy Sunday afternoon. I've since watched a lot of your recent videos. I'm from the UK but loved M.A.S.K, TMNT, Thundercats, Knight Rider, A-Team, Star Wars etc etc back in the 80s as a kid. So watching these videos, brings about a whole heap of nostalgia for me. . It also makes me wish I'd been delicate with my toys and kept the boxes...Lol

My sons have Tales Of Suspense #20, which my friend gave them. They had boxes of 10 and 12 cent comics they bought back in the 90's when they were kids and no one collected much comics. They mainly had gold and silver age and specific modern age. They all were stolen off them. Little by little they're getting them all back

You did best on the Spider-Man stack. Those books add up fast, they hold value, and if you try to sell them they go fast. Almost everything up to the 330s are strong sellers, but your pickup up of silver and bronze and the size of that stack was impressive.

My wife and I inherited about 300 comics that her Dad bought in the 60s and 70s. Had it appraised for a little over $20k and since we aren't collectors we sold the whole lot. It's weird what people will pay for stuff like that. Then again I always thought collecting "anything" was weird.

Nice haul. Still on my journey of collecting the first 20 asm in cgc 2.0 or above. Still need 6 more but got the major heavy hitters, including a #1 already out the way 😇 easily the best art, down to the fact it was hand drawn and coloured and you can see where they go outside the lines and all. Far better than the modern stuff imho.

Awesome video! As a big Golden/Silver age fan, I was drooling when you where going through the boxes. If you didn't grab it and end up going back,I strongly suggest you pick up "Brave and the Bold" #200. Great book with value, glimpsed it when you going through a box.

Especially with the Forever People and New Gods books, you have the beginning of Jack Kirby's time at DC Comics and the building of the Fourth World. It's just good stuff to have in your collection.

Nice vid and fair payment. I sold some comics a few years back, and the guy who bought them off me gave me pennies on the dollar and really ripped me off bad, so I am gun shy selling my books anymore.
