I Bought the MERMAID WAVER so you don't have to (or maybe you do...) Beach Waves are TRENDING like CRAZY all over Hollywood and this effortless, textured style is a gorgeous look for nearly everyone...BUT ME...
In this video I am using the Amika High Tide Deep Waver which is a three barrel curling iron used to crimp the hair for an effortless textured hairstyle.
Why can't I ever get this simple mermaid waves tutorial to turn out looking night? The crimper seems to be a BIG FAIL for me no matter which was I use it. Do you like it? Let me know in the comments!

Honestly after yiur courage furing uou hair journy i would not fo anything. Uour hsir looks so healthy. The back grew so well and the sides looks great.

Use the tool with another type of iron mix that waves up. That's what I do because I don't like the waves from a three barreled iron.😊

I like how it looks on you and that little indent you don't like gives you a volume (which I like very much, because my hair is thin 😢).

I think you should leave the tool clamped a little longer or turn the heat up. I get much better results when I do. It doesn’t appear that you are getting the full achievable result from the tool. Bed Head makes an affordable “Beach waver” that gives a more tossed look that you may like more. Walmart sells it.

I'm thinking of getting one but feel with arthritis in my hands would be too difficult to use! I like it but if not your taste then not your taste Gabi! Xx

I’ve got one of those too and must say I rarely use it as it is so bulky and takes ages to do long hair!. I’ve just bought the beach waver and loving it!, do light to work with and so easy to work! X❤

I have a, or had, a tool like this from L'ange, called Le Trident. I sold it. So heavy and cumbersome!

I have two that I never use. Why did I think I needed 2? One is smaller than the other, though. The bigger one creates frizzy straight waves which isn’t cute. Don’t know what to do with it.

Great observation with the direction you used the tool... you're so smart! It definitely gave you volume, but I would like to see the waves more defined... I think it would look better. Do you think the undefined waves are just the results of the physics of the tool or could it have not been hot enough or stayed in place long enough? 🤔 Interesting, because I've picked these up in the stores a hundred times and set them back down... never committed and actually bought one!

I totally think it’s because I didn’t set it hot enough. I have to try again…. It just turned out puffy but maybe it was because it needed definition.
