I noticed that with the clone,your eyes were much darker and wherever the clone touched the viewer, you would touch on yourself as if asking for permission (and example would be touching your hair/ears then looking at the viewer before touching the viewers ears and hair) !! Amazing little details and workings !

The subtle eye change for the visitor portion was nicely done and just slightly unsettling. Along with the voice it definitely made for an alien feel.

It took me several viewings to be okay with that sound lol. The doctor half of this is too good to pretend I don’t want to watch it regularly but that noise was fucking terrifying at first. Hell, sometimes the first few seconds of it years later still freaks me out!

Honestly, I thought I'd never see another ASMR RP like this one again in my life. Both Olivia and Ally made elaborate sci-fi themed videos before but I thought ASMRtists gave up on these because they're simply too much work. My verdict? Extremely well made. I am truly impressed. Thumbs up. Way up.

Y’know, come to think of it, remember the Horta from classic Star Trek? Unknown what the Visitor’s natural form is - if she even has one - but she kinda occupies that role of the initially unsettling, yet ultimately cuddly alien if you can adjust your perceptions just a bit. :D

I love how ASMR has become something that allows people's creative side really shine, purely for others relaxation. Even though half of us will probably be put to sleep by the tingles, you still put 110% into your videos and it really shows. Who knew a meditative type video could also be considered a short, almost interactive film?! Awesome work and I hope there's more in the future!

Good comment. I had noticed it, too. It seemed natural for a chameleon-like creature. And I suspect an alien contact would begin with each repeating sounds of the other until the meanings became apparent (like children mimicking adult sounds at first). Really good job!

I felt like the creature wanted me to go to sleep so it could shapeshift to look like me and than pose as me when the others came back. It kinda freaked me out. But in a tingly way I guess.

I absolutely adored the video, the concept and how beautifully it was edited, but I would never ever fall asleep by my own will while a shapeshifter was suspiciously telling me (a low-rank person, that probably have no idea what's going on and merely is guarding the visitor) to go to sleep.

Heeeeyyyy.... I just noticed something I missed before. Did anyone else catch this? The Visitor's image is a mirror image of the real inspector (and the Visitor is the normal aspect that we see Miss JB). Now, that's a small-ish detail but it's likely what a chameleon would do, I think. Make a mirror image of what it sees. Excellent concept & detail!!

Thanks very much! A lot of the sounds are from Video Copilot's Motion Pulse library, and those sound really great and layered. All I did was drop them in and blend them together.

JB and James: This is absolutely amazing work. Totally worth the wait, and worth at least a dozen replays. Calm and soothing, beautiful both to watch and hear and just a light touch of "spooky" moments for added effect. Loved the choice of theme, and this is all round high quality work. This video is the truth. It’s going directly into my ASMR bedtime playlist. All of the collaboration effort shows. My only critique is that the video is noticeably louder than your other videos. I enjoy listening to different videos simultaneously, e.g., someone speaking & a heartbeat video. This usually works well with your videos, but I had to turn the volume way down so I could layer the sounds properly. A very minor inconvenience. Keep doing your thing. Thanks.

Ah, that's my fault. I sometimes have a hard time hearing JB's videos on my phone, so I increased the volume a bit to make sure anyone listening on crappy speakers would be able to hear everything clearly. That's a cool idea, listening to multiple videos at once. I'll have to try it!

I've been watching ASMR videos nightly for two years and this is the most well done sci-fi ASMR video I've ever seen. The sounds were incredible and the visuals blew everything else out of the water. This was just amazing. The predator purr combined with other sounds and visual triggers was both incredibly soothing and extremely tingle generating. I'd love to see more collabs from you guys.

I was reading the comments early in the video and i saw a lot of positivity for it so I thought wow this must be a good video. Literally this is phenomenal the effort you put in for the video the tingles were sensational and just the editing in this the green screen the acting it was so amazing and I can see how much work you put in this and I wanna thank you for making such an amazing asmr video ❤️❤️❤️
