I have been doing this with my Vitamix for a while now - celery, cucumber, parsley, lemon and ginger. Its a breeze and much faster and easier than an extractor with all the parts that need to be thoroughly cleaned and scrubbed. I don't see that its different because you're breaking down the veggies and extracting the juice with a mesh bag. All the nutrients there.
I'm going to check the juice yield of my vitamix against my Omega juicer. I get tired of cleaning the juicer every night. Great idea. Just need nutmilk bags now.
The natural sugars in beets do NOT even compare to the type of sugars in cookies. =) Our bodies burn the sugar energy from beets much more efficiently and it contains much more nutrients.
@@LakerLife im all for sugars from whole fruits and i realize these were regular beets. But a lot of sugar that we use in america actually comes from beets sugarbeets to be exact. Can you explain the difference?
can be true...in my opinion I only buy organic when juicing....otherwise I buy local over organic...but food in general, especially organic...is getting crazy high...bought some conventional grapes the other day...like $12 for a bag...nuts!
