Ashchu117 I asked her too and she said *The thing go skrrrra pa pa pa ka ka skidipi pa pa and a pu pu prrrrrrr dun skiya pu pu tun tun dun dun pun pun*
Google Assistant - An A+ student who is always on time but also has no sense of humor Alexa - That kid in school who always fell asleep on the desk but teachers never did anything about it because they knew she'd fight them Siri - Pampered rich kid who dresses well but is also completely oblivious on how the outside world works Bixby - The class clown who is really trying her best, but is still a lovable clutz
Having Bixby and Google Assistant both honestly is great once you know which to summon for different tasks. Now, if only they could just help eachother as one...
Because Siri asked that. If its wrong answer or no answer its no point, if she asked then he replied. It was the "conversation" with assistand as this task was about
pansowa75 the test was about conversation and siri broke the conversation and he gave it the keyword Obama instead of seeing weather it can figure out what the conversation is and continue it. That's and incorrect test on that question .
Of course it did. Google have all the data they collect every time someone search for something on Google. From the question itself to the page they click as the correct result.
At the time this video was made, Bixby was pretty new. Bixby can control every setting on the phone, open apps and do functions in them, search for apps and install them. You cant expect the world out of a new concept. Only thing i dont like about bixby is the bixby button.
on google assistant, simply saying "take a selfie" or 'install Uber" works, when you oversimplify the sentence, it starts searching for keywords like "camera app" as a name of an app and fails, the simpler the command, the better the result
Yes but it should be penalized for not being able to understand what you're saying in a variety of phrasings. Voice assistants are supposed to make using your phone more convenient, so if you have to watch your phrasing carefully in order for it to understand you, that defeats the point a little bit. The ideal voice assistant can understand what you mean no matter how you choose to phrase it, like an actual person.
yes, but not in that particular test, since the purpose of that test was how easily can the AI understand a simple command in the context of previous commands, so that it's more human and less like having to speak like a robot, but the commands didn't do justice to the purpose of that specific test because saying it the way he did is more robotic than saying "take a selfie". also, for siri he said " open the camera and take a selfie" whereas for google he said " open the camera app and take a selfie" while it might not seem like a big difference, it is.
the purpose wasn't to see if they're perfect or not. it was to see which one is better at a certain task, but at least in my opinion, the phrasing used to test that task was just less than ideal
No one is going to say "ok google, open the camera and take a selfie" in practical use. You'll most like say "ok google, take selfie". So no. You can't penalise it. It's a machine, not human. You can't just spurt a random phrase and expect it to understand. Do you know how many ways you can ask your assistant to take a selfie for you? It would be impractical to get all that kind of training data for the machine. I think it should get a point there, because it's doing like it advertised; which is being able to understand your normal speech and react to it. So no one is going to "normally" say, "open the camera and take a selfie". It's longer to say that than to just do it manually. You'll likely get, "take a selfie".
I was like no way Bixby is that good at rapping and on my s9 I said rap for me and it started dissing APPLE AND BLACKBERRY lol and it had fire music lol
TheFriendlyArab30 Chill, women. Both assistants are good. Bixby is amazing in controlling every aspect of your phone. (Recommended for people with disabilities). While Siri is really fast and is good at answering random questions while having a great personality.
gg ez is just sad cause Apple just copies or is far behind android. Especially after you see what they did today. Watch - samsung copy. Apple TV - Chromecast Ultra. iPhone X - Essential phone.
Regarding the "take a selfie" test, I noticed that Google Assistant will fail if you add "open the camera app and...". Simply saying "take a selfie" worked. Probably Google trying to be too smart here...
Google assistant is the best but where is cortana and why did you give a chance for Siri when it didn't understand '"how tall is he? '" and you gave it a second chance!!!!
Luckily you don't have to choose between Google and Bixby, they live happily together on the same device... Google for everything cloud and Bixby for controlling your actual device
Robin Jacobs I was thinking the same thing. Problem with Bixby is, it is not as good with the accents as Google assistant is. Still though , it is hard to outgoogle Google, right !?
@@yu1kari Offline in that case means that it doesn't send your voice to the cloud. It figures out what you said on the p phone, and then if necessary, makes online search
i got one on android alice. she works on quite alot of stuff offline like booting up apps. reminding me of shit altho her google skills are fucking hilarious xD could be my shitty accent
11:41 Person: Open the camera app and take a selfie Google: No camera app installed. 11:53 Person: open the play store, search Uber, and install the first app Google: *NO CAMERA APP INSTALLED.* Edit: That's a lot of likes.. Thx guys!
Tony: Connect to the cisco, have it reconfigure the shell metals, use gold titanium alloy from the seraphim tactical satellite, that should ensure fuselage integrity while maintaining power to weigh ratio. Got it? Jarvis: hold on... Uh.. Im not sure what u mean Tony: u what? Jarvis: sorry sir, just trying to act like the ordinary digital assistants, i just watch it from youtube.
Bixby, struggling the whole time: D:??? Bixby, as soon as it was time to take a selfie or download an app: wait! I got this! :D me: :'0 you're doing amazing, sweetie...
@John Grist Bixby and Google should become one thing, sharing the same interface. One Button at the top of the screen (Iphone 4 and Iphone 5 lock phone button location) and they both listen. If you ask a system/phone offline question: Bixby answers and if you ask an internet question: Google answers
-Bixby is just plain cute and capable of surprising you with what it can do while failing at simple tasks on occasion. -Siri is quick to answer with excess detail, and a rather bland sense of humor, while getting most things done. -Google Assistant is the jack of all trades, actually really impressive, not much it can't do. -Alexa can't even.
yes. I own an iPhone and I gotta say that was not fair. I use siri everyday to set up alarms, reminders, and to schedule events. I must say Siri needs more work, not good at keeping a conversation going.
Bixby is about 3-4 months old. And it can compete with the big ones. It can even do some things that Siri and Google Assistant can't. I think this is pretty impressive. Wait 1-2 years and make a test again. I'm sure the results will change.
You cant ask Siri "How tall is Barack Obama?" as a followup question... The whole point of the test was to be conversational, aka transitioning to new questions without having to repeat your original one...
I don't feel like Siri should've gotten the point for the height of Barack Obama, as you actually had to say "How tall is Barack Obama?" rather than it just getting "How tall is he?"
He meant to test it with conversations, which means the assistant's ability to understand command based on previous commands and results, that's why he said "How tall is he" that he thinks corresponds to his previous question regarding Barrack Obama
FebriyanWP no that’s not fair because he didn’t say how tall is he like all the other assistance’s. When Siri fucked Up he didn’t continue on he gave it another go, but with the name of the person.
What about "Cortana"? I know we Windows 10 Mobile users are very scarce, but we do use Cortana and would love to see how she stands out against others in the market.
I know right. Cortana is one of the best AIs that I have used with cross platform support. I mean I have added a reminder using my PC and I can be notified about it on my phone.
Red Hood Ok I agree that Bixby is not the best despite all the features but saying that galaxy is shit?! Dude the best phone for 2017 is the Galaxy Note 8 and yes it is definitely better than the Iphone X
Bixby, u can ask her ANYTHING that has to do with not touching the phone from opening Twitter, tweeting, posting it. Swipe left, scroll down, open the notification panell, she's great at internal commands. Btw Google assistant is faster than siri
People like me? I like how you know nothing about me but will make assumptions. I am just telling you facts in this video i did see apple being faster on the voice assistant but it didnt have the information at times. which is ok because no voice assistant is perfect. Literally just use what you like. Everyone has there own personal opinion but it all really comes down to whatever is best and or easiest for you to use.
Google assistant : Because I’m smart and I know things Siri : I may be a little off sometimes, but I’m still good. Amazon : I’m Okay, I can be bad though. Bixby : I can rap.....that’s it.
She's awesome. Everyone laughs so hard when I get Assistant to play a Game Show. Lol. Ask Google assistant to play a game show with you and your friends. Most entertaining shit ever lol
Richard Hufferson thats what they were going for yhings that bixby cant do google assistant makes up for anc vice versa together they are king, and considering bixby just launched a month ago its pretty dam impressive and if you want to navagate apps none can beat her, or iif you trying to rap or beatbox then none even come close to bixby
Google Assistant is the best. Not only does it do so well as an assistant and taking commands, but it also has a ton of interactive features you wouldn't think to have on anything else. I took a personality quiz on it the other day to find out what my nickname is.
Try "google, go to home screen. Now swipe left/right. Open (some app you find in that screen) . Open settings, scroll down " etc without even touching the phone
