I think Blake is much smarter than he comes across on this show. He’s an entrepreneur. He has his own bar in Tennessee Ol’ Red, he has his own brand of vodka. He’s also a country music king. He has won this show 7 times or so. And all of his business ventures are very successful. It takes a lot of intelligence to start a successful business venture.
And being on The Voice doesn't take up that much time (a few days for the blinds, another week or two for the battles/knockouts, and then appearances on the live shows) but it allows him to bring attention to his bar, he can advertise his new music whenever he releases it, and he gets royalties whenever people cover his songs. Plus, he'll feature artists from his team at his bars after the show. Out of all his smart business decisions, being on the show was the best one of all.
I love how blake was a total diva. "They don't like you shakira. And I'd be mad if I were you". And then when his chair turned while he was sipping his drink was the cherry on top.
Thanks for sharing. If you have a minute, I recorded a cover of Bob Dylan. As a fellow music lover, I'd love if you would check it out. It's on my channel. Hope you enjoy!
