About 25 years ago I bought a cassette tape from the DJ's in Manhattan in China Town. (I remember it was a tiny little booth)! This song was part of a 45 minute "Super Mix" and I never heard the entire song until today. Of course, this song brings back a lot of good memories from "The Good Old Days" when things seemed a lot simpler back then. Thank you for posting this!!

Yes! HOT 103 FM NYC! They did play this versions by The Voice In Fashion! 1987 dub version, I must've forgot about them, what on earth happen to these cats? Sounds like the edits are HARD.
DJ RALPH T Noo Yawk was the place to be at every weekend. Noo Joisey was OK but kinda dead, same for Staten Island. I normally hung out in NYC cuz of the stupid tunnel and bridge tolls. Long Island was also a badass place to be. LOL
yo i was chillin with my monte carlo and all the fine witches. I sported my pushback hair cut and fancy clothes, miss all my boys i chilled with, living and those that passed on . Abby love you, you were homey till the end, franky hang on dont leave yet.
+joe CaM They put the clown face back around the dj booth in 88-89 When Jellybean was mixing there. My dumb freinds didnt know what it was . they were a littile younger then me. so i told them about the funhouse,
joe CaM nah. I ain't throwing shade at your comment. However this is club music. Club music was a Queens thing. The remixes such as house mix were later presented to the Manhattan scene. Let there be no doubt, Voice in Fashion, Lisa Lisa, Judy Torres, TKA and more were all owned and celebrated by Queens first. I was there. Circa 1984-1988
Oh yeah... that was an awesome place to party until 1am and then head on over to like 10-18 or Limelight, Bonds or Nirvana until the break of dawn. Haha! You from NY too, Maria?
So you know what I'm sayin' here... LOL I mean, NYC back then it was the place to be growing up and partying like a aminal just about every darn weekend. I'd do just about anything to go back into time and never get older from that era. That's why I love NY til I die. You know what was the best part? Going out to a local diner after partying all night long!
B-boying is a 90s term. In the 80s, it was called break dancing. There were 2 movies and multiple other dance flicks like Beat Street, Wild Style, and Fast Forward. IJS
Ontime891 I did accept the fact that I was wrong. What do you think "you learn something new everyday" means? It means you taught me something and I accept it. But you would much rather call me arrogant than accept a compliment. SMH.
