The concept Apostle is trying to bring here is that,Having received the light from God[Which is his language of communication],that this light will only be profiting if it rest upon a transformed mind .A transformed mind here being a mind that is set to function as per the word of God [A mind that is Robust in scripture] and mind that is set to be lead by the holy Sprit.With this kind of mind then there is a guarantee of the light translating to the will of God.

When God speaks, it is to communicate His will and intents. The language of God is not vocabulary (the tongues of men); the language of God is light. Psalm 119:105, 130 Your mind gives vocabulary expression to the light of God your spirit has received, so that understanding can come and you can obey that word. That is faith. You cannot exercise faith (obedience) when you lack understanding of what God is saying. It is a risk to depend on any man’s vocal prowess or linguistic ability to understand God’s heart. Depend on the Lord, even while you listen to men. We understand/know God by: 1) the scriptures 2) the names of God 3) the reference of the life of Jesus 4) the experience of men You are grounded through the Word. This stability is needed to give you discernment in these perilous times. Lord, I receive grace to settle with the Word, and to let it dwell in me richly🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 God bless you more, AJS.
