The third night of Battles Sees Michelle Revins & Jamie Stanton perform "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica, not just Bressie with the strange choices so!
Hi Guys, this is Jamie. Thanks so much for the kind words and messages, also thanks for any critic anybody has, if you'd like to discuss further please get in touch. I will be honest, I enjoyed singing this song with Michelle so much that I can't take any negativity into consideration. It was truly a pleasure and an overwhelming experience to say the least and the atmosphere on the night was absolutely electric so I'm afraid no single persons opinion can hinder this. Michelle was awesome!!!. Hope ye enjoy the rest of the series, Thanks :)
Hello everyone - Michelle here. Youse are all very kind ; ) Yes you are right parts of the song were out of key, if you are a singer you will understand nerves get the best of you sometimes, and it took over me at this particular performance more than any , which caused me to lose control of the pitch in places , not a reflection of my capability as a singer : ) Jamie was superb anyway and delighted he got stolen !! Peace xx
SHE'S TOTALLY OUT OF TUNE! What a pity, it would have been a great duet, they seemed to be good during the rehearsal with Dolores, especially him. I'd love to hear this song sung by Dolores!
Michelle was at a disadvantage to begin with , in my opinion, - This is the type of stuff Jamie usually sings I am sure - he has Metallica written all over him... for Michelle it a case of trying to bring her own uniqueness to the song. I am sure if they were given a Kate Bush song or something quirky, Michelle would have shone more than Jamie.... As for her being out of key, she was in certain places...but because this is Jamies type of music he still would have shone regardless....both are fantastic in my opinion.
I'm getting tired of hearing the word brilliant, that was a poor performance and she was out of tune 70% of the song, it looks to me that the coaches are trying to "increase" the level of the show by worshiping every poor performance like this one, we are not stupid, I was expecting more from ms O'riordan.
