I love that "Finding Dory" gave a cameo to Alexander, giving him some involvement in the sequel, despite his voice no longer being suited for the character.
Yes and I dont think it would be like toy story 3 because Andy went to college and I hope nemo doesn't grow up and do the same thing and I hope he gets a new kid voice actor
It would’ve been nice to see Alexander Gould voice non Disney characters like, he would’ve been perfect at voicing 10 year old Ben in the original Ben 10 series
17 years later *Nemo going to college* Nemo: "Dad, have you ever met a shark?" Marlin: "No and I don't plan to ." Bruce: "I may be a shark, but I have feelings too you know."
What ruined *Finding Dory* was when Nemo's actor was replaced and they hadn't aged Nemo at all. Clownfish live to be 6-10 years. Humans 70-120. The median of the two are 8 and 95. One year for a clownfish is about 12 years give or take. At the time of Finding Dory (2016), Alexander Gould was about 22. When it began production (around 2012-2013), he was 18 and 19. His voice would be settled enough for him to play a 17-20 year old Nemo so them not giving him that part was unjust. We all would've loved to see it that way. And it was like he was thought of for the role, but scraped and given a role as a garbage man with hardly any role in the film. I don't even remember seeing his name roll on the credits..
