The Voice of the Guns - British Military March 

I was at the first "Massed bands spectacular" at Wembley when i was around 12. In addition to the fantastic music, my parents and I sat next to one of those massive army searchlights (like the one's used to illuminate attacking bombers in WW2) and its crew. The crew explained all the technical parts and issues and at one point they performed an operational change of the carbon rod filaments - an unforgettable evening. I still have the used carbon filament they gave me.

I was in the audience on this night. It was awesome , still have the tickets and programmes.

This makes me want to bring back the British empire

I had this on video when I was younger. Loved it.

The British Empire's villain theme, I imagine this inspired the Imperial March from Star Wars a bit. Every time I listen to this I think "Yeah we're the bad guys, what are you gonna do about it?"

I took part in this tattoo with the Staff Band of the REME in 1981,very tiresome rehearsal schedule for two weeks .

Some of these military bands are no longer with the British army
