I loved Dave Finlay if he didn't win it's a crime since Jordan fucktard Smith win he is was such an overrated winner even as an adult I find his voice "unshocking" and overrated

River and chandelier are my top faves so far. Oh my gosh they were so good! The father of the kid singing “when I was your man” said “YES! That’s why baby boy!!!” And it made my heart happy

Jordan cringe smith nah fuck him so overrated I'm not really "shocked" with his voice most gays sound like a girl meaning if I was gay I'd sound exactly like that anyone can scream like him girlishly much more impressed with heavy metal singers then any pop singers personally...
I always love Pharrell and Adams reaction to the guy singing Chandelier. They both just nod at Gwen because they're both tenors who know what a true tenor sounds like.
I’m so glad that people still remember Matt Mcandrew... he was easily in my top three favorites because his voice is more than just beautiful. It’s captivating and there hasn’t been anyone like him since him
Jordan Smith is the most overrated singer/winner on the voice I mean man litterally looks gay how is it "shocking" he sings like a girl I have no problem against gays but I find him highly overrated -
@@kyew9647 I agree. If he wasn't a fat slob no one would care. His pitching was awful and the notes weren't hit right or clean. He was actually terrible
Jason Bourne gone from assassinations to singing..wow multi-tasking..wouldn't like to be the one in of those chairs who didn't turn around...target practice if not!
I'm so proud of Matt McAndrew! I was a big fan when he was on the show and now he is the lead vocalist of one of my favorite bands: Rain City Drive. I hope you're feeling the love and keep doing what you love.
@Daniel Perlov Vocal terminology is a very tricky thing. Let me inform you on the details so that things are clearer. When you sing, the vocal folds (also called vocal chords, but folds is more accurate) come fully together from bottom to top in a sort of waving motion, and how fast they do this is what we perceive as different pitch. Faster = higher pitch and vice versa. The sound they make by themselves is very similar to the sound of someone blowing on a trumpet or saxophone mouthpiece without connecting the rest of the instrument. Kinda like a duck call. Now, there is a phenomenon called resonance that comes into the picture. Resonation, in short, is what happens when sound waves (which are very complex in of themselves) reflect off of a hard surface. So, when you sing in the shower, the walls are acting as a resonance chamber. In the same way, certain parts of your vocal mechanism act as resonance chambers and manipulate the sound produced by your vocal folds, and your articulators (lip, teeth, tongue) change that sound into words. Your "voice box", which is called the Larynx, is the vocal mechanism which houses your vocal folds and some mechanisms which help adjust resonance. There are different thoughts on "registration," but generally speaking, there is a chest voice, which is primarily utilizing your larynx's thyroarytenoid cartilage in the muscular act of singing, and is also what generally occurs in speech. You should be able to put a hand on your chest and feel this buzz. Head voice is the predominant use of a "lighter" laryngeal mechanism called the cricothyroid cartilage and the resonation is "felt" more in the head space. Of course, both of these cartilages are always active, and registration is a really complex thing that has many different avenues. The sound of a tenor singing a high C with predominant chest vs primary head is very different, but both of them are "full voice," or modal voice. There is a low extreme and high extreme (different for other voice types) where one takes over so much more than the other that the contrast is much more noticeable. In a male, you could look up a singer like Dimash and hear his very high lighter notes, and that is head voice of almost entirely cricothyroid engagement. But, he will also use a head and chest "mix" (closer to even engagement of both cartilages) on the same notes he sang very light and easy in a song like S.O.S. So, what is falsetto? Well falsetto is not a register, but a stylistic use of head voice. Both men and women have a chest and head voice (with some slight differences, mechanically the same instrument) and are therefore capable of falsetto. Falsetto is a primary cricothyroid engagement head voice, but where the folds do not come completely together. This means that some of the breath that passes between your folds to make them vibrate is escaping. This is what Billie Eilish sounds like, very light sound with breath in it. This sound is falsetto. If the cartilage engagement was the same, but the folds fully closed, you would have head voice, and if you used the thyroarytenoid cartilage more predominantly, you would have chest voice.
@Daniel Perlov I remember this video (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hCmeW_NWlHE.html) that explains it in quite understandable way, what and how. Atleast it's the way my vocal teacher explained it to me.
Jordan Smith is the best singer to be on the voice. You should watch all the rest of his performances throughout the season like the Queen song. So good! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1QEmUr1icgs.html
Bear González yeah Matt (Matt Mc Andrew) was amazing, too bad he lost. His song wasted love in one of the performance was incredible. Take me to church was good too.
Jordan’s version of Somebody to Love by Queen was good too. Showed his full range. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1QEmUr1icgs.html&feature=share
I watched Jordan smiths audition years ago and was blown away. By far one of the most surprising blind auditions I’ve ever seen. One of the most talented winners in the shows history
Dean Andric Deandre was robbed. He was on Adams team.. there was a young girl on the team as well.. when it came to the live shows she caught an infection and couldn’t perform so she sat in the audience with a bathrobe while she sniffled and cried.. Deandre did his performance.. which was brilliant..but when the time came for judges to speak Adam said good job Deandre but plz vote for my other girl who cant perform.. that girl went through while Deandre got eliminated.. after a performance like that.. still makes me cringe just remembering that a talent as great as his got sidelined cz of a teenager with a cold and half his talent who was backed up by an influential musician
Lovely assortment of totally different types of singers, which impressed me the most. Wouldn't call them "The Greatest of all time", but they were a great selection to listen to and THAT'S what I liked the most; the variety you chose. Thank you for this selection.
I guess when you block the other judges the contestant can't pick the one who was blocked and the judge can't coach the contestant either..so in this case Adam got to coach the contestant. Simple meaning of blocking really 😂 but i dont know, i only watch this show on youtube.
Every judge gets one block during blind auditions. They can use it on any of the other judges but they have to do it before the other judge turns. The contestant then can no longer choose the judge that was blocked.
