They make characters look similar to the voice actors a lot in animated movies i noticed. By making the faces similar to the original actors, they can add little details and ticks that the actors did during the recording to the character to make them feel more real and alive. I think that's another reason why a lot of the voice acting had video recording.
They tend to use adults so the voice will sound the same when they do a sequel. This plot doesn't seem to leave much room for a sequel so they had little to lose.
I love this movie. All the characters were incredibly charming. The animation was spectacular. I really enjoy the new Pixar look, with the goofy smiles and huge teeth. This is such a wonderful coming of age with strong family and friendship values. All the relationships were genuine and complex. The biggest villains in this film acted out of love, which was wonderful to see explored.
How could you guys miss talking about James Hong!! This incredible actor has been around for many years and voiced many awesome characters! His role as Chi-fu in Mulan is hilarious! As the old priest in Turning Red, his voice was perfect.
Mother *sees doodles of a cute boy as a merman in 13 year old daughter’s private notebook* Also mother: YOU DID THIS TO HER?! HOW COULD YOU TAKE ADVANTAGE OF MY LITTLE GIRL!!!
Anne-Marie literally had one line from a side character and she is featured in this video. The dude who voiced the school security officer had more lines than her.
I'm 20, and boy bands has come and gone for the 2 decades of me living. And I'll just keep enjoying them. I love 4 town so bad!!! they're so cute and just gives me vibes of so many boy bands I've seen growing up. NSYNC, backstreet boys, big time rush, heck even the vamps and 5 seconds of summer and let's not forget BTS. I've seen so many boybands both western and asian even from my home country philippines. they're EVERYWHERE and I love most of them
Throughout the movie I was noticing the background score a lot....which is unusual for Disney movies off-late as all of them pretty much have got the same ol' tunes we have heard a million times. Cut to the credits and I go......ahhhh Ludwig Gorranson the OG.....that's why. Man is 🔥 and is versatile AF. And yes I enjoyed the movie..... ✌🏻
this is really cool and funny to me because addie is one of my best friends in school. so going from eating lunch with him every day to seeing him voice a character in a big movie is awesome
“He writes, he sings and now he acts”.. This is not his first time doing an acting gig. He was in two movies one “Bad Teacher” and “Life inside out” a movie where he acted along side his mom.
The hate only comes with people getting annoyed of the main character’s voice (tbh it was) and people saying the Art style and character designs of the movie didn’t stand out as much as Luca. I mean it’s kinda true. It was very tacky how they designed the aunties hairs on the pandas. I LOVED the cooking scene tho
@@MariaLopez-jd4tt Yes, but with this designs Pixar was trying to make something different and I think it come out super!! Cause the design give u that 2000's vibe.
@@ememaria9278 These designs aren't different, original, or unique. It's Calarts style. People were trying to deny this but there's an easter egg reference to Calarts in the credits.
I never knew who had the voices of Priya or Robaire until a few days ago, and ever since, I've been hooked on them. Cuz Jordan I know from Liv and Maddie that I love, and Maitreyi I know very well as Devi from NHIE, which is one of my favorite Netflix shows. So great work! And she really suits to be Priyas VA. 😎
i didn’t even clock that ming was played by THE sandra oh. Miss Cristina Yang, Eve, my wife. After watching 17 seasons of greys twice over and being a massive fan of killing eve, you’d think i’d recognise that voice lol
I love 4*Town. Their sound definitely reminds me of N*Sync. Makes me totally nostalgic. But there’s one thing I don’t understand: what’s up with Tae Young’s blue nails? He used to be my favorite 4*Town character until I saw those nails. The nails were my deal breaker, lol
He supposed to be a k-pop idol like a member....the director said he is inspired by BTS jimin (which shows) maybe that's why they are known for being feminine
4-Town HAS to be created.. If it's not, I might tear down my house. Also, is it me, or is Sherry Cola one of the most epic names I have ever heard? (4:47)
CORRECTION: Orion Lee lives in Perth, and at the time WA had no COVID restrictions (because they quickly isolated themselves from the rest of the country; restrictions are now in place since they reopened state borders). Other states were not so fortunate, especially in VIC and NSW where very hard lockdown and restrictions were in place. So no, you cannot say, "in Australia" because a single state IS NOT THE WHOLE COUNTRY. >:(
i love the fact that the producer got inspired for the high note in the end of the movie m from a real singer. Inspired by JONGHO from ATEEZ, he's the one who has unbelievable vocals
It’s unfair that 4town isn’t real. I was never a boy band fan when I was Mei’s age but if 4town had been a thing, I probably would have felt differently. Lol.
