I think it's a good thing, they don't have a preconceived notion of how their characters should sound like and these characters should not sound like themselves in game since it's an origin story

The fact that Jinx and Vi were cold recording lines w/o prerecording is insane. There's chemistry there as if they were in the room together speaking.

If someone told me at the start of the year that my favorite show of 2021 is going to be an animated League of Legends show, I would laugh in their face. But this show is by far the best thing I have watched this year, a true masterpiece and every voice actor nailed it. This show is going to be a benchmark for animated shows going forward, and also for character driven shows in general.

Harry Lloyd absolutely did Viktor justice, he was playing Viktor at the Undercity Night against Phreak of all people lmao. happy to see him invested in project even afterwards yall should try interviewing more of the VAs, especially Silco since he was such fun on the stream, and possibly Hailee Steinfeld

I didn't know Toks Olagundoye...but I knew that she was Mel immediately when I Googled the cast. Mel is a reflection of Toks' elegeance.

Amazing show. Characters - Jinx is the best creation equally supported by Ms. Ella Purnell , Viktor is earthly character done full justice by Mr. Harry Lloyd, Silco was voice supported honesty and Mel Medarda is created beautifully exotic. You don't forget any of these characters after the show, they remain with you. So beautifully created. Hats off to the creators.

Therefore, she has a different accent (I legitimately could not pinpoint her real world origin, but I'm sure someone else) than everyone else in the council. A voice that sounds alluring, a personality that embraces the unknown, a character that is so elegant and knowledgeable and encapsulates all that is upstanding about Pilotover.

One thing i like about League lore is that you only need to read the lore of the character you want. No need to learn the entirety of runeterra lore. You want to learn Jinx... Just read only her lore You want to learn Caitlyn... Just read only her lore Their story just simply connect at some point like crossover events. Each character lore is like 1-3 short paragraphs and that pretty much explains everything about them. Amumu (a playable character) for crying out loud only has like 3-5 sentences and its him being Sad

I’m no gamer, but still I was familiar with the name league of legends as a video game, and when I heard about Arcane being an animated adult show based on the game I instantly was curious. The visuals were what first drew me in fast, I mean look at that art style, incredible! I’ve binged through the show twice and now I’m sitting back and waiting for what’s next.
