The songs are in a slower tempo than usual, this doesn't mean it sounds bad. Sure, Junior Marvin doesn't sing as well as Bob, and most of them were probably still mourning the passage of Marley less than a year before that. But they still sound amazing. The Wailers were the greatest reggae band that ever existed. 🔥 🔥 🔥
I like so see the kids there, all jumping & joyful knowing this was soon after loss of their father. They are today keeping his legacy alive. Sure Jah is real never slumber
The Wailers! A great band that made it possible for Bob Marley to shine. I admired Bob for a long time, but today I see how important the Wailers were. Unfortunately, I feel that they have not been given the true recognition they have deserved. On the other hand, it is impressive to see Rita, Judy and Marcia together, at the forefront, continuing this sublime musical legacy. Recently one of the originals (Aston Barrett) left us. We have two living legends left: Al Anderson and Junior Marvin. Long live the Waileres forever.
The way I see it ,if some of the wailers had recorded the songs the wrote for Bob people would have a different attitude towards the band.Because only Bob was singing ,Al Anderson an also sing
Verdade !
It has to be said, its awesome to see all of them ,but there is no bob ,and so of course the music has no strength to it ,doesn't even sound the same, very brave to carry on 😮
