The Walking Dead 11x24 "Rest In Peace" REACTION {Series Finale} 

This finale had me tearing up like I never thought I could, the fact I started this show 6 years ago 😭and it basically became part of my childhood

Rosita probably had the most beautiful death in TWD Universe so far: in a bed, a beautiful room, with her daughter next to her and her friends. She deserved that, she was such a beautiful and strong character who sacrificed her life for her baby. RIP mama Rosita ❤️

Maggie’s speech to negan also sums up exactly how I feel about him. Everytime I see him I just see all the fucked up things he did 😭

Eugene and Max even named their baby Rosita.

“He want his chocolate bar or his violin” 😂😂😭

if you noticed what Rick put in the backpack he threw on the boat, it was the drawing that Michonne finds on that same boat (washed up on Virgil’s island) which leads her to realize he is still alive. So this ending scene of Rick places it way back in the timeline before Season 10’s events

The amount of times I had to remind myself to BREATHE I tell you 😂 I wanted to say at around 10:00, the nursery worker or babysitter who was with the kids put the kids in the crib like that and sacrificed herself so the zombies would eat her and not them. She's a fuckin real one ❤️ I said that about closing the room off too when Shane did that for Rick! Loved that you also picked up on that full circle moment for father gangster. So damn good. The dialogue between Maggie and Negan was so good. Maggie said the right things. Negan is trying and I appreciate that she sees it and that she says she is ALSO trying. It's gonna be interesting to see their show together after that being the last words we hear them speak to each other. And Rosita, it was half expected but the way they played it out was so heartbreaking. Baby Coco will be loved by so many people who would do anything for both her and Rosita. The time jump had me tripping too! So much time to pass, it makes me really feel for Judith and RJ being without both their real parents for so many years now.. it's gonna be a beautiful reunion.

I'm happy they gave Rosita Andrea's comic death, not recreation but having it be a unsavable bite, but no painful agony, just in peace with her loved ones visiting her one by one. Loved her character and I'm so glad she didn't just fall and die

I cried so much it was a phenomenal ending to the beginning of the universe can’t wait to see what comes next

When Daryl puts Judith in the hospital room and puts the hospital bed Infront of door it is exactly like when Shane did it for rick in the hospital it was exactly like that scene 😭😭

I really have no words. This finale was bad ass. The feels. RIP Rosita, Luke, and Jules. I loved the Maggie/Negan scenes. I'm happy Yumiko and Magna reunited. While watching the show on AMC, when I saw Rick and Michonne my first thought was 'Tomaj is gonna lose his shit.' It was beautiful. So that's the boat Michonne finds the phone on with Virgil. Looks like he had escaped, had his boots off at the beach, I see the phone on top of his bag too, he heard the chopper and threw the bag onto the boat. The boat did look like it had run a ground so idk how it "washed up" near Virgils' island as he said they do but somehow the boots and the bag ended up in that storage closet and the phone still on the boat. 🤷🏽‍♀️ S/n that bag looked alot like the bag Michonne took from the closet on the island too. Damn, those other 3 people even got that boat working and that's how they were able to leave the island 🥺 That's wild to have been THAT close but so far aswell 💔 ugh I'm just soooo happy to see both thier faces again!! This finale was amazing. ALMOST everything I hoped it to be ❤️. Excited to see where the spin offs take us, especially after hearing Danai and Andy are helping Gimple write the story. I think my favorite thing about Rick and Michonne’s return is that it wasn’t just some sudden fan-service driven appearance to help out the crew. Instead, it was heavily emotional, epic, shows us what they’ve been going through, and moves their story forward for the upcoming spin-off. Such a great finale

I haven't been easy on this season, not a secret... But goddamn this was awesome! They gave us so much more than I had expected and had a nice few little nuggets like Zeke and Mercer as Gov and Lt Gov tossed in for good measure. Hell, we even got a lil ankle meat. The rick/Michonne stuff at the end was super satisfying and substantial. Basically I just gotta give them a lot of credit for making time at the end to cover a lot of stuff I had expected to see throughout the season. Goddamn they pulled it off.

I don’t plan on watching Maggie’s spin-off because of Negan but I’ll definitely watch it through your reactions lol I love me some Negan slander

I've been watching your reactions to TWD over the last two or three seasons but I've never actually commented🙆🏾‍♀️ This finale was perfect in every way and I think it was what I needed...I kept wondering how they would bring Rick and Michonne into this episode in a way that would make sense, especially since we all wanted to see them and they did a spectacular job of it. I've never cried this damn much over a series finale😭 This was beautiful, I feel like I am at peace/satisfied with its resolution, also knowing the story is not yet complete and I can't wait to see what the other spinoffs have to add to the walking dead universe and how they tie them together like a pretty bow at the end. I was not expecting Rosita to die

The fact that Rick and Michonne aren't back yet is extremely concerning. Kinda leads me to believe they both are now captured at the CRM. Makes me think that both the Daryl and Maggie spinoffs will lead to them ending up at the CRM as well, like when they all winded up in terminus. Michonne has been out for almost 2+ years looking, so something definitely happened and will be explained during their own spinoff

The scene with Rick is between his disappearance in 9x5 and the time jump in 9x6 as we see the ship from 10x13 and i think it was mentioned or suggested Virgil had found Rick's stuff, probably from the bag he tossed. Michonne's scene is probably in the present or 2-3 years prior soon to when she left Alexandria to look for him.

I was able to keep myself together until Rosita and Gabriel were at the table. I was done after that, just a mess! Apparently Christian Serratos asked to die in the finale. It was her way of having closure with a character. Pretty cool. Incredibly sad...but cool.

I’ve been watching this series since I was 12 and to see it end? I’m just in shambles. We’ve all grew up on this series. I cannot wait for the spin-offs! Fun fact: Chandler Riggs who plays Carl, played a hilltop resident in this last episode.

I cannot believe its over

A week later and I still can't believe we've come to the end of The Walking Dead. I really enjoyed the episode and all of your reactions to the show. I'm so glad the writers gave Maggie that moment to say how she felt. I'm all for people liking whatever characters even if I don't get it. And I absolutely do not get the love affair with Negan. But to each their own. What bothered me over the past couple of seasons is how the writers seemed more intent on making Negan a hero and Maggie unlikable because of her issue with him. At least that's the way it seemed to me. It's like people forgot how traumatic it was for her seeing what he did to Glen. I can't tell you how many times I rolled my eyes whenever Negan went into one of his speeches about how he's changed or whatever. It was almost like the writers were trying their hardest to change the minds of viewers who just didn't care for this character. Someone was saying after Negan's talk with Ezekiel on the train that basically those who don't like Negan should recognize that he's changed. My thing is, we see that the writers have written him as a changed person over the past few seasons. We just don't care. I personally feel like that character didn't deserve a redemption arc. I'm just happy they wrote in what Maggie said to him in this final episode. She should not have to forgive someone who did what Negan did. And fans of the show should not have to like a character just because the writers feel the need to remake or redeem them. Every word she said in that moment felt like the show acknowledging the viewers feelings who could never get over what that character did. I so loved the after credit scene with Richonne. I thought it was beautifully done. I missed them so much. I'm looking forward to their spin-off and your reaction to them.

The scenes with Rick and Michonne at the end took place years apart from each other. He threw the bag onto the boat which had the carved cell phone, his boots, etc which is the same items and boat that Michonne found in the episode where she left, which had about 6 or 7 years in between.
