This reaction is the most beautiful reaction to this episode I've seen so far, and I've seen more than a hundred of them. It's genuine, unlike some of them I've seen. I seriously don't get why this video gets so many dislikes.
I hear behind the scenes Andrew Lincoln had to rest for a week after the "Breaking Rick" scene where he had to cut off Carl's arm. He deserves an Emmy for this.
TuffZombieboii no it’s not but when a awesome character u love u have known for 7 years and u watch him get his head crushed and his eyes poped out in front of his sick pregnant wife u can’t help but feel like shit
Jordan Bolton I laughed too, like wtf does him being half Asian have to do with anything, it's weird, like she made it seem more sad because he was bi-racial I need context for this.
A lot of people are saying she's too sensitive. But you have to appreciate the situation. When you watch a show as engaging as The Walking Dead, you fall in love and relate to the characters. Not only that, but Maggie and Glenn were crazy in love, and Maggie is pregnant. That's what made me upset - their child will grow up without knowing who his father was.
@@canadavatar i want to be daryl dixon or michionne.. coz they strong so many struggle in life that they needed to go through.. but the others was strong too.. but daryl and michionne was my favorite here..
@@blueotan nah he didnt kill everybody he had 50p chances of doing it he didnt lol! Rick as soon as he got the chance he killed all his people without a second though haha ! Lets be honest the most killers in the tdw show are the survivors we love them because we saw them as innocents when the apocalypse started! And negan or other villans were intreducted as the bad guys from day 1
I cried the hardest for him when he was sick back in the prison. When Hershel and Maggie were helping him stop choking on his blood, I really thought he was going to die, and I was not ready for him to die then so I was sobbing. At this point, even though he was my favorite, it didn't affect me as much. I guess cause it felt like he'd cheated death so many times, and his time had run out. :'(
Tommy Cipriani I meant why were they going to cut Carl's arm off. That didn't happen in the comics and I felt it was overkill if they had actually done it. Especially having Rick do it.
Rick hadn't been broken. Not yet. This did it. They didn't want you thinking at the end of the episode that Rick would rise and fight. You were right. They were defeated.
halview Yeah i understood that after the fact. But I was just thinking this is so sick. Making a father cut his own sons arm off lol. But Negan needed to really break him down. So you are right
Glens death broke me down, seeing how rick was about to cut his sons arm off completely made it hard for me to breath because a father never wants to hurt his son and ricks acting was so genuine that it hurts
Im with you. I cried and cried. I'm still devastated. First Abraham, then Glenn for God sake and to see Rick broken like that tore me apart. Saddest thing I've ever seen on TV. They are our family too.
Also the shirt I am wearing is from the website Redbubble . Com. I'm not sure if it's still there but a lot of people keep asking me. Just type Glenn. Thanks again for viewing my channel 💕 RIP ABE🔹RIP GLENN
Imon_Snow it looked like you needed a hug from someone when abe and glenn died also i recommend if you are sad again find cute things online and be with your family
I have a very unhealthy addiction of the walking dead bc legitimately no joke, I sit on the couch and finish like 1 season and 6 episodes a day nonstop. My mom thinks I'm crazy
aneurysm huile de colza Thank you, it's a bit unnecessary. Especially with the warning in the beginning of this video lol. The truth is, most of these people would never say any of these things to my face. There's still a lot more love than hate so I'm happy about that ❤️
When I found out it was Abraham, I was sad one of my favorites was gone, but I could live with it. When Glenn got beaten, I knew this show would never be the same
I really do question some your you people's mind and emotions! 😂 Obviously we understand these are fictional character, we understand that Steven (Glenn) is alive and well. However, can YOU not understand that for the huge fans that have been watching the walking dead every Sunday for nearly 8 years, falling in love with the story, and characters can bring out triggering emotions when a beloved character dies. I mean in the end this is Glenn we are talking about not some random character, he was their since season 1 ep 2. He was my favorite as well (obviously by my account lol) and I have been watching the walk dead every sunday for 6 years. And in the end it's it's 100% normal for a human to feel emotions over ANYTHING. Means they have a heart. Anyway. Great reaction! You earned a new subscriber girl! :')
Don't get me wrong. I love Rick's group and so does everyone else but that's because we've experienced their journey with them,so we see them no other way. But in all honesty if we didn't know any of them and found out ALL the things he and his group have done, we would think of them as villains. So that is why we see Negan and the saviors the way that we do. Rick and his crew literally thought of themselves as being untouchable. If we want or need something we are gonna take it. Rick even said it at Terminus "They are gonna feel so stupid, when they realize they're screwing with the wrong people" Hell they went looking for trouble when they became hired guns for the Hilltop colony (Rick quote again to Jesus) "Confrontation has never been something we've had a problem with" They ignited this powder keg through arrogance, which in turn Negan and his crew have em some act right. So now they've learned, no matter how tough you are, there is ALWAYS somebody tougher. Like that ole saying goes, you thought you were Billy Badass until you met Billy Badass.
I think hes point is what if negans group is the main characters in walking dead and u watch them every season then u saw ricks group in season6 for the first time in that episode wr they kill all those ppl in thr sleep maybe u would have want negan to kill them too.
Rick does things to protect his group/family. He doesn't go around finding groups and then kills a member of their group and takes half their shit.. Rick and his group are NOT like Negan and the saviors... I don't understand how anyone can say that. Could you really see Rick finding the Hilltop people, kill a teen boy with a barbed wire baseball bat to prove a point then always demanding half their shit??! No way would Rick ever do that! And Daryl and Glenn , etc would not allow him to do that either!...
she literally said in the beginning if you don't like these kinds of videos then leave why are yall posting so much hate against it Glenn was my favorite I cried my ass off like everyone reacts differently
Negan is awesome. They did a good job representing him. Even though people are going to hate him, he's probably going to be the main provider of awesome one liners now that Abraham is gone.
Murat Şahan hey i got news for you ,people die , and when it’s the apocalypse it can happens quicker, you can’t just have all those people alive for the rest of their lives, shit happens man
Season 7 was a disappointing piece of shit, but this episode by itself was phenomenal...I can watch it over and over again and still feel the pit in my stomach and my heartbeat in my throat.
I absolutely agree. I wish the writing, directing, and emotion carried from this episode. I feel like if they didn't time jump to when Negan comes for the items it would've been so much better.
I'm 100% agree with you guys even if for me it's still hard to watch this episode after seen it. I have to admit this episode was one of the most difficult thing I've ever seen on TV. I've always hated violence but this was going too far and even if I'm strong and that I didn't cry it was really hard for me to watch. You can't imagine how much I hated Negan and his group at this moment. still hate them of course ;) It's the worst thing you can do to kill an human. But you damn right we needed a season also intense and emotional and psychological like that episode but no the whole season was so bad writing and directing! I expected so much a great season after this episode but I was really disappointed after that.
what the hell was that whole fuckin "shooting another car with a giant machine gun out of a truck while driving" -scene?? That was literally worse than anything I've ever seen on TV. So bad it was hilarious.
I cried so much too, I was just heartbroken. he was my favourite character since the first season and they let him kill like that? why kill glenn? I was like crying for weeks and I can't stop crying when I see that scene again. Glenn and maggie deserved better. love ya
didem sen I cried also when negan told Rick to cut Carl's arm off or everyone dies. I was like "Bro! fuck u, your not done yet!? you just killed Glenn and Abraham!" I was balling!
didem sen why do females cry like children? serious question, I'll never understand that, I get loving a show and it's characters but the crying like they actually exist is ridiculous to me. like are females just brought up so soft that they have to cry over everything?
People stopped watching the show because of this. And honestly they can fuck off. This is the shit that makes a TV Show good. No one is safe. Stories are built up, and when someone dies the IMPACT is felt. I think this arc was the best thing the walking dead has done. The recent seasons are just them playing it safe because they are scared of more backslash from fans. But I love the showrunners for having the guts to stick to the comics and kill off Glenn, and they did it in a way where everyone thought it wouldnt happen since Abaraham was killed first.
in the comic glenn come back as a ghost that why he said ill find you and he tell them about the necromancer from lousiana who started the zombie outbreak
without googling or looking at any kind of dictionary, in my understanding ghosts, zombie and any other supernatural being would be part of the wide category of fantasy, while i would connect future tech to syfy.
Ok then who is good and who is evil ? If you look at it in negans point of view he avenged his fallen soldiers something Rick would do remember the church.
+majah paine neagan uses them as a pawn. He's not avenging them, hes getting new workers. He happily kills his men and burns their faces in the comics, he doesn't care about them, he only thinks about how now he wont have more working hands. He killed abe and glenn to scare/force them into submission, not anything to do with his fallen slaves. Read the comics. He doesn't care about them. The end.
Uhm, they did that to survive. You'd be doing the same exact thing if you were them. Ricks group needs revenge. They took glenn. They're not gonna just leave it at that
Will never forget how intense this episode was to watch when it aired. My mom and I were so extremely nervous and excited throughout the entire day leading up to the airing time It was the first episode my mom almost had to stop watching because she couldn't stand the intensity and stress. Looking back, it's great and almost fun knowing I watched it with thousands of others across the country and we were all freaking out at the same time. Might sound corny but it's basically my favorite show so... ( :
Dropping the show because you think it’s trash is fine and normal in my eyes. But to stop watching because a character died (which many people did), is just a bit weird in my opinion to be honest. Especially from a show which consists of many character deaths right from the start. It was kinda expected, haha. Each to their own though.
The showrunners did this because it is the natural direction of the source material in the comics. At episode 100, they wanted us to know that the world is much bigger than the little group we have been watching....and Rick is broken. He is a little bitch from here on out and Negan isn't another "governor" that will be dealt with in a few episodes.
I know why they killed off Glenn and Abraham, I know a bit about the comic. I know that Negan is still alive and all of that. They can take the show a totally different direction though. They have already changed so much anyways. I was pissed in that moment because I thought they were going to have Rick cut off Carls hand! That never happened in the comics, it was supposed to be Rick! So I was just confused as to why they wanted us to see a father cut his own sons arm off, especially after having us watch two of our favorite characters being killed in the most brutal way. Just seemed a bit much if they went through with it. Thankfully they didn't lol
Well they do change things from the comics but only who it happens too.. Other than that the major events are always played out the same way. And they did that to show you that Negan is powerful, People often forget that villains make up the story. Heroes only react the villains cause the trouble. And they make you want Negan to die so they did it in the walking dead fashion
think of this as the walking deads Red Wedding but with characters that are actually enjoyable (I love GOT. Jon Snow is my favorite but I always HATED Catelyn Stark)
Imon_Snow Yeah, they didn't have to loosely follow the comic, but it's common in the comic world to "change things up" when/if one reaches 100 issues to keep the readers interested and reading. I think the show decided that this would work for the tv show as well. Change the status quo a bit. I think overall, they want us to realize that Ricks group and the stories we've been following are just a tiny drop of water in a big ocean so to speak :)
I agree, with what both of you are saying lol. I was just upset about having to watch a father potentially cut off his sons arm. I felt that would have been over-kill. But it did show just how powerful Negan is. As much as I hate him for killing Glenn and slapping Rick in the face (lol) He is probably the best villain we have had on-screen in a while.
One has to respect Negan for doing what he had to do in order to teach them a lesson. It makes sense from his perspective. He's not evil; he's just being pragmatic in an awful world.
He is way too brutal, he could have just shoot Abraham and Glenn in their heads, but seems like hitting them with a bat to death has a more powerful impact.
Aw, your reaction really saddened me. I could tell he was your favorite. It always sucks to lose your favorite character :( Had to deal with a death like this at least twice a season with my favorite show Lost.
I gotta add that Glenn was my favorite character since the beginning, he never pissed me off unlike the rest of the characters at some point or another
He was mine too, but I found after season 4 he'd become too grown up / mature / rugged and the boyish happy-go-lucky attitude that made Glenn great was lost anyway
haha negan is so awsome, put those fools in thier places, thats what they get for murdering liek 30 of negans guys i guess lol. gonna be an awsome season, they picked the perfect guy to play negan for sure
Kevin Mackie actually I feel like they got off too easy. Neegan should have chopped at least one of each of their hands off for killing so many of his people.
I don't think anyone who watched this episode had a very controlled reaction to it. This was like the final 30 mins of a avengers endgame, if you have eyes you cried
It's just a show with fictional characters I watched it and had a good time it's one of the best episodes, I didn't have an emotional over the top break down over a fictional characters death.
I have a pretty good idea that he'd remind everyone that this is how he wanted to go out... He even told Kirkman and Gimple to give him that death, if they were going to do it like they did in the comic... Which made me feel alright with how it went down. I expected it to be Glen on the end of that bat, but not Abraham. And no one is giving much love to Abraham, which is a bummer because Micheal rocked his role.
well for you might be just a show but for me they're like my family. Almost every person who saw that episode and was a fanatic cried their eyes out. Even people trying to act tough.
TrancheurDeVagin no its alright to cry for it cause thats the intension. People watch these shows so they can get all this emotions. Amazing actors like the ones in Walking Dead makes us move. Thats how good it is.
Jeremy Perry Hey come on now. It was an extremely intense moment. People are just trying to find comfort in each other ya know? It's kinda relieving when you know someone else is feeling the same thing you are. But we do have to keep it healthy because thankfully it's not real.
Angel Rodriguez same here dude. When Abe was hit, i lost it and couldn't even watch as i found it too damn difficult. Then i turn back after hed finished with Abe and he attacked Glenn. I lost it again.
If it makes you feel better, this type of world would SUCK to live in. Glenn and Abe are no longer in pain nor in fear. They will never become walkers. They are at peace.
At peace? That world may "Suck" but those few moments of happiness, like sleeping beside your loved one, having that baby, eating a meal together, sitting down and joking around is worth living for. Hence why none of them committed suicide. Death? As far as we're aware its absolutely nothingness, how is that any better? That world is closer to reality than our own, we were once a survival species that survived together by forging, hunting, and avoiding predators. (I mean, back then it was other humans, predatory species, viruses/bacteria... not so much walking dead people).
Don't reply to stupidity and clear hate. It's your channel, the people bitching aboutyour reaction can fuck off, they aren't forced to watch it, they are here because they want to. Frustrated people love to do shit like that and also to project. Don't waste your time on them, just block them and move on. Great reaction, btw.
don't be ashamed I bolded my eyes out when Glenn got hit not only that I got extremely pissed and started cussing and hitting the floor I feel you he was a favorite of mine too we will get through this together
As soon I saw the Glenn T-Shirt. Oh boy... This is gonna be good. Also, I wanted to say it hurts to see you breakdown like this. This was a strong scene, gave meaning to the show again. So, I get it.
+ShayDoesMinecraft r u just saying that because u think it's cool or have u actually been classified as a psychopath? Also u could just be mistaking yourself for a psychopath when your just a high functioning sociopath. Or....u just haven't gotten invested in these characters lives
I was laughing my ass off at Negans execution. Probably because I knew what was happening a day before hand thanks to spoilers and everyone around me's reactions.
The beginning, you’re already making me tear up 😢 God this episode is so emotional. Still miss Glenn and Abe. What makes it sadder is Abraham took that sacrifice, thinking he saved everyone else. If it weren’t for Daryl, Glenn would still be alive.
I still can’t watch the LV scene again. Only watched it the first time and now whenever I watch the episode I’ve got to skip it. Definitely two of the saddest deaths on TV.
