I'm defending her because she's recieveing an unfair battle against everyone. I'm trying to show that what Lilly did is NOT justified, but please know that she wouldn't have done that if Ben didn't go against the group. EVeryone has a breaking point. Lilly lost it when Carley started insulting Larry, which would never happened if Kenny calmed the fuck down and NOT kill Larry. She's not sick. She just lost everything. I'm just trying to say that EVERYONE should be fair and know WHY she did it. If she killed Carley just because Lilly doesn't like her, then yeah, I wouldn't be defending her. But she has a VALUABLE reason WHY she did it....

Are u stupid or something? First of all, Lilly killed Carley because she's unstable. She's being ganged up by Lee and Carley. Kenny JUST killed her dad. Try to place yourself in her shoes. "Ohhhh that still doesn't give you the right to murder" Yes. But everyone has flaws in this game, which makes it better. Lilly was a lost leader. She tried to do anything that would be better for her group. At least consider the fact that even tho Kenny killed her dad, she didn't steal or abandon the group. She stayed, tho planting grudge against Kenny. Second, OF COURSE it's murder. But her reasons are justified. Third, Why shouldn't I? Every antagonist in the game had reasons why they killed people. Hell, in an alternate universe, Lee and his Group are antagonists because they stole from the strangers car. So why shouldn't I try to defend Lilly? All of you are ganging up on her, saying she should die, but remember that it was Ben's fault in the first place. For example. in real life, why would some bully do the things they do? Because of problems at their home. Same with Lilly, why would she kill Carley? Because Carley is ganging up on her, their group is cracking, they're in the middle of nowhere, all of those mixed with the fresh wounds she has when one of the member of her group killed her dad. Tell me, who wouldn't go bonkers? Sure, not all would kill, but not all either wouldn't.

Lilly didn't know who it was for sure, but Carly's insults and the built up stress from being the grieving and struggling leader led her to take an innocent woman's life. But no matter the reason, it's not an excuse. At least Kenny was trying to save a room full of trapped people in the potential company of a giant Walker, while Lilly just went off the deep end and lost her shit, proving she wasn't capable of being a leader in the first place.

This is why I despise TTG because they don't know how to make it so choices are meaningful and they never are and every time you have to choose who to save, the person you save always ends up dying within an episode or two and it's insulting writing If the only thing that changes is dialogue then it isn't meaningful or good writing because the ending is always the same no matter what and I hate that TTG never understood the concept of writing multiple scenarios so that players could actually try to keep the characters they liked alive which is what most people would have done with Carley if possible, but they never learned that and just decided to write a set story where even if you saved people at the end they'd end up dead the following season like Christa and Omid in season 2 and Kenny in season 3

Well if Carley didn't die past this point, Lee wouldn't have gotten bit looking for Clementine because I highly doubt Clementine would even had the chance to sneak out with Carley watching her, and even if she did. Carley wouldn't have let Lee walk around alone. So yes, Lee wouldn't have been killed if Carley wasn't killed either

I realized that from Season 1 Episode 1 that you have no real choice at all and its all just artificial marketing rhetoric. They only killed carley mid-way because they realised they cant invest the money to produce 2 full characters and their storylines and voiceover for the entire season or even continuing seasons. You see that the devs originally planned on it, (carley having 2 separate Triggers in the Car, that she would remember the Choice you made) but later changed it mid development. Probably budget cut by the Publisher or Producer. No matter what decisions you make, you only can take the people into the next episodes that Telltale wants you to, you can only save the people that Telltale wants you to, can only go the Path that Telltale wants you to etc. its just stupid to tell us that we would have choice to change the story. Good example is Lilly, no matter what you say or do she kills carley. No matter what you say, if you let her go, she steals the RV. If you let her stay, she still steals the RV. And if you talk about her about coming with her, she still kicks you out and steals the RV without you. Or earlier on the Cannibal Farm; no matter what you do you cannot decide NOT to go there at all, even if you say you dont want to in those conversation "choices" presented. No matter what you do Mark gets his legs cut off. No matter what you do Lillys Dad dies. You cant decide to take the Highschool Teenage guy-traitor with you or leave him, you cannot even allege him of being the traitor after Carley is shot, the topic is just forgotten.... No matter what you do or say, you cant get rid of clementine, instead she WILL become the center of the game and have anyone around her dead, because Telltale wants it that way. Didnt play further neither. What a Joke of a game and totally false marketing. Even Mass Effect had more real lasting choices that carried over in the next game, than Telltales Walking Dead did. And I knew they would go Arya in Game Of Thrones revolving the entire story about Clam-entine from the first moment she opened her annoying mouth You can just say nothing "..." in every conversation and still have the same story as if you made a choice. +Brandon Laine This is pretty likely, the series has been suffering and if they reintroduce a popular character it would help. I think the problem with season 2 was not really just the story but the characters didnt really have any substance. Luke was cool, but season 1 introduced 5 cool characters off the bat (Lee, Clem, Lilly, Kenny, Carley) and season 2 really didn't introduce anyone I liked, Luke was probably the best character but meh. The game just doesn't feel like it did in season 1, Season 1 kept you on your feet at all times, whereas season 2 didn't. I felt like season 2 was melodramatic, too much boring dialogue. I just hope with how long they're taking to make season 3, that it's really good. I honestly think Lee's death was a huge blow to this series, and hopefully we get some cool new characters and more entertaining storylines for season 3.

Season 2 did have more than just dialogue in my opinion, think about it: The walker in the shed, Carver, The Road Trip, Meeting Kenny, The Shootout, The Camp, The Escape and Deaths, Rebecca Baby With Walkers, Arvo's People, Luke's Ice Death, And The Whole Kenny vs. Jane Scene. What's there not to like? Lol but I do most certainly agree it was not as good as Season 1. Hope they bring back Lily....

Season 2 just felt kind of corny. It felt like it wasn't made by the same company, and it felt childish. The characters just weren't as good, they desperately need to make some new interesting characters. On a different note though, what was your favorite episode from S1? Personally I loved E2, when I first played it I was shocked that the St. Johns were cooking human meat, I jumped out of my seat, paused the game, and paced back and forth. Couldn't believe it. And when you had to side with Lilly or Kenny it was a tough decision but that was awesome too. I think the main problem with S2 was more dialogue and less action, and the characters frankly weren't as charismatic. Say what you want about Lilly or Kenny but they were both very entertaining characters and IMO season 2 didn't introduce any new charismatic characters besides Kenny who already was in S1. TellTale better come up big because the wait has been extremely long.

Season 2's best was E2 IMO. Man starved for help had one of the greatest endings ive ever seen in a video game, when you beat the crap out of andy st. john and he tells you to come back and fight like a man, and you have the choice to beat the crap out of him or leave. and the semi guilty feeling when you realize you destroyed their family and farm, just to think you were being friendly to them an hour ago.

Lilly was just waving her finger and trying to be a leader, despite her not mentally capable of being anymore. Kenny even said this in the start of the episode 3, "I don't think you can make the executive decisions anymore," foreshadowing Lily's unstable state. Lily's way of thinking is process of elimination. She knew Kenny couldn't be the one, because he has a family and she uses that same method on Lee, because he has Clementine. So, that leaves Ben and Carly. Without Carly, Lily outright outright assumes/knows it was Ben, because Doug is too pure to betray the group. It's possible that part of the reason why Lily chose Carly was because of the fact how she always took Kenny's side or just side against Lily in general, like in Episode 1, where she instantly took orders from Kenny and even called him, 'boss,' despite Lily being the leader earlier. Big reason is because Carly called Lily out for being a scared little girl and Lily retaliates with extreme force. It's kind of interesting that she never tried this with Kenny. Both Lily and Kenny never got along, but they both have a understanding of each other. Kenny said to Lee that he hardly cares about Lily's feelings or opinions, but he doesn't distrust her, and Lily admits to Lee in Episode 2 that she tried understanding Kenny's point of view. I wish Kenny and Lily became neutral with each other instead of getting gradually worse to each other. Their dynamic was the most interesting thing to me in the group.
