Codron was so impressive as a villain. I was immediately intimidated bye him. The setting was gorgeous and I love how they are consistent with Daryl’s character. I like the more religious element to the show. It is a unique perspective with the nuns.

the actress playing sister Isabelle was in Harry Potter :) I like the fact that those guys were using older weapons thats cool, I always wanted to see that in the show :)

The vibes are immaculate with this show

I gotta say, the show I just watched tonight was actually great. I won’t lie, but it’s fun to see Daryl on his journey to the post-apocalyptic France. Amazing!

I liked this show much more than Dead City. Daryl took a bath! And he has a sense of humor! And there are burner walkers. Yes, I'm in!

I keep thinking of that T.W.D. comic "Alien" about Rick's brother in spain. Wonder if Daryl is going to run into him or something. Just cause, that would be an intetesting I think! Only if they did it in a goodnot stupid way!

Codron is a bloody good villain already! He’s impactful, calculated, ferocious and intimidating. And that’s just the first ep. I mean, who else has the balls to walk into a church and start killing nuns if need be?

This was the weirdest The Walking Dead I've ever seen, and I have seen all of Fear 🤣🤣🤣. The nuns raising their weapons against those soldiers was A+ though. But I don't understand why they made another scientist group aparently when they could had just used a CRM branch or something.

Not sure what's more far fetched the dead rising or Daryl bathing

its interesting how the acid walkers don't have to bite you they just touch you and the acid spreads through your body and you already turn however you die but now you are an acid walker

I like that we actually got to see parts of France unlike with New York

I was sort of annoyed by the nuns grabbing all those weapons, getting me hyped, only to then not even use them and be slaughtered by the men. Lol they had me thinking they’d at least show one or two of them whipping out some hidden skills.

The spinoff I've been most looking forward to, not disappointed at all 😊

I liked that they gave codron a clear motive for wanting to kill daryl other than him just taking orders from somebody

you see the blue eyes the walker had? the blue eyes make me think they were slightly successful to make a cure. cuz usually walkers eyes are grey but idk their failed attempt at a cure eliminated some characteristics of a walker idk just ideas

Great seeing Daryl again! Every scene provided good narrative information so the episode moved at a good clip. Love hearing French so that was a plus. I hope this kid leads to Rick somehow because Daryl's really the only one from the flagship without his happy ending.

I was least exited for Daryl show, but i think it’s my favorite so far, Maggie is my favorite character but i HATE Negan no matter what he does and how he changed. Daryl’s show is winning for me hahah

Another mediocre episode in this universe. 1. Daryl speaking into a tape recorder is an overdone trope in this universe and it’s cringe at this point. 2. Little to no walkers 3. Long drawn out 20 minute scene of daryl walking in France. 4. Poor dialogue that drags. The premise of nuns is cool but if comes off as corny due to the writing. You don’t ever feel for these characters. The nuns feel like every other group. Ocean side for sure. 5. Another annoying kid 6. Another villain that has a one note character. He’s tough and that’s it and he will be eventually upstaged by the female on the boat. Just like every villain has been for a long time now. Looking at you Lance and Croat! 7. Stop killing off so many characters in the first season! The old man and the old nun seemed interesting and boom they are dead 8. Dum “hip” dialogue that gimple thinks is cool but isn’t. “ what’s cracking noob” is one of the worst cringe lines ever. 9. The nun singing at the end was cringe and repeats the same annoying trope in this franchise where an annoying character can’t sing for crap and it’s so cringe! 10. The setting at first glance is cool. So far it’s better utilized than dead city….but it still feels too similar to Georgia in so many ways! Endless woods etc. I miss fear season 2-3 where Mexico actually felt different. 11. Just too familiar. The show cannot stand on its own. It has the same issues that have plagued the series for years. 12. More woke nonsense. Where have we seen this before? Nearly every character in the show as of right now is female. And are all extremely strong. The only one I like is Isabel. Ending: Daryl Dixon episode 1 is by no means god awful. It just won’t leave much lasting impact on people. And everyone will forget it existed just like everyone has already forgot about the god awful dead city!
