I feel like what Hershel was saying is that he doesn't want Maggie to go into a spiral to get her revenge on Negan, He just wants her to care more about him without always thinking about Negan in the back of her mind. That ending btw is really gearing up a way more interesting story for S2, I wonder what Dama did to get into Hershel's head?

12:38 what hershel is trying to say is that Maggie is focused so much on negan and getting her revenge on him, hating him, etc. that she barely even pays attention to HIM. he said that all his life it was almost like Maggie was just looking straight through him/over his shoulder, paying more attention to her hate for negan to actually notice how hershel felt in all this, alone and ignored.

The Maggie and Hershel conversations were exactly what I wanted and really ring true to me. Even if Negan had died on that hill so long ago, she would still be the way she is now. Trying so desperately to make sure Hershel is safe and prepared for anything that she misses out on seeing every other part of him. She isn’t just dealing with what Negan did. It’s The Governor, Terminus, Dawn/The Hospital, The Reapers, and Commonwealth. Now these people. She has to learn how to keep that preparedness while learning to let go of the heavy burden of grief, fear, and vengefulness. But it’s hard when it feel like those feelings are vindicated every time some new group crashes your gates. 😞

I’m so confused about Negan and Maggie’s relationship lol. Half the time they’re getting along, and the other half they’re trying to kill each other. It’s a great show, I’m always down for seeing more Maggie and Negan, but I’d rather have seen like Maggie and Carol and Negan and Daryl or something

I did one of my longest after episode discussions I’ve ever done after this finale because of how much I loved the teasing of the exploration of the Hershel psyche 😄

Honestly Maggie just feel like such a boring character at this point Negan is the only reason i kept watching after Rick left and Carl died it just didn't feel like the same show anymore

Once my 106 vid goes live, I did a really in depth look at the chat between Hershel & Maggie & why it was one of my favorite scenes of this series & highly recommend you check it out because I took a perspective on it I think you might actually resonate with it even though you usually don’t with my POV’s about these situations lol

Haha I'm just as annoyed with Ginny as you are 😆I hate angsty, annoying kids in horror movies and stuff. As for Negan and Maggie, I have a feeling that those two will wind up being together.

I hope Maggie will save Negan in season 2 because trading him is wrong in my opinion, if Maggie saw Negan save Judith life in 9x16, Negan saved Daryl, Judith, Aaron, Gage, Lydia and Hershel Jr lives

Hi Tomaj. Talking bout he didn’t know that the saviors did everything behind his back. Negan knew everything his people did and nobody can tell me different. Not impressed with the Hershel Maggie reunion 🤷🏽‍♀️. So S2 is the marshal lady going up against the Doma 🙄. Should be interesting. It can all be yours if the price is right. Speaking of Rick and Michonne are you going to do a reaction to the 30 seconds teaser? Bcuz I went looking for it and never saw one.

I agree they need to have them paired up with other characters like I want to see Maggie with Carol or Michonne and Negan with Lydia or other kids

I agree Tomaj, this is the Negan show. They shouldn't have paired Maggie with him. Let Negan do his Negan thing separate and let Maggie have a different show. She feels like a side character in her own show.

I'm sorry, I tried, but I did not like this show. It was a struggle to get through the six episodes. The fight scene between Maggie and Neegan was horrible. It reminded me of a WWE wrestling match.
