This video features videos, pictures and information for a number of filming locations that were used for the TV series The Walking Dead. Most of the locations were in and around both Senoia, Georgia and Atlanta, Georgia. Come See With Me
Yeah me too. Than I will finally rest and watch the sunrise over a grateful universe... *Infinity War| Soundtrack - Porch 1h slowly starts playing in the background*
She thought glenn was on the bus, but once she cleared out all the walkers, she didn't see his body so she never thought he died in the bus, hence why she smiled at the end
I've been to all these locations. I absolutely love going to where they film the show! When I'm not there, I miss it, so I watch videos on RU-vid. Yours is one of my favorites because it's very accurate and informative. The Studio tour was amazing! I highly recommend it if it ever opens up again. Thanks for sharing. Great job!
Being from the UK sucks so much ;-; I want to see the locations in person so badly but can’t with it being too far away and costing too much I hope they keep the tours going for years and years after the show ends soon :)
Missed out on the old Piedmont Hospital. Was used as Grady MemorIal Hospital in TWD. Pretty easy to get inside too. I had fun walking around. You can picture every single scene happening that happened. What hit me the hardest was being able to picture Daryl carrying Beth’s body out directly where I was standing.
Next time make sure to get over to Griffin, GA. They filmed golf course scenes there at the country club and filmed in what was the old Wal-Mart building when I was a child.
It was an awesome tour! I got to take the official tour. Then I rode around and found all the side locations! I thoroughly enjoyed the free day I had after the tour to drive and enjoy the town I’d Senoia. The tour was very informative and amazing . The people were all kind and welcoming in Senoia.
Very Good video, very detailed. I really miss my home state of Georgia, all my boys were born there in Columbus/Ft Benning, its a state that has everything! from the big city to tiny little towns, from the foothills to the north down to the coast. when I watched this I remembered how much character georgia has. I sure do miss it, hopefully one day I can get back home again.
Thanks so much for this. It brings back great feels from the early days when it truly was the best show I’d ever seen or ever imagined could be. It was simply breath taking. I’d love to do that tour ~ I live in Scotland so maybe one day I’ll make it Stateside but in the meantime it’s fabulous to see it all here and much appreciated 😘
The Kingdom used to be Fort McPherson, in East Point. My dad worked many years on that base. Hope that helps! I live about 15 mins from Senoia and have met many of the crew from TWD over the years, but mostly in Season 2 and 3. Thank you for the video!
Thnx so much, for Upload/Sharing... the Video and these great Film Locations from The Walking Dead ! Very Interesting and GREETS from a big Fan (TWD) from GERMANY 🇩🇪👍👋😎
I was having lunch at a small restaurant in Lovejoy Ga. It was called Country Bumpkin! Some guys came in with video equipment. They told us they wanted to film us for a new series about Zombies. We would be shown as we were. They were going to add Zombies coming in by using special effects. I did not have cable at that time. I was told that this scene did not make it into the final cut.
Morgan's apartment and the away with you wall- where he burns the walkers-Glenn's dumpster location, Denise train track death location.....Great video !!!!!!!!!!!
Hey bro. That's a cool idea for a channel. I hope you get more subs so you can keep showing us interesting places! Also, I drove through the real Woodbury once for work, and I was like 😃 it looks pretty similar to this except way more run down and lifeless lol and poor...I didn't know it was actually Senoia in the show. I can see why they would've wanted a different location
back on a binge due to rick & michonne coming up real soon! not sure if you know at this point, you probably do as the video is 4 years old, but these homes in alexandria are available for purchase & morgan street is open to the public through june to december, but only morgan street (the street where the main entrance gate is in the show), and you can literally stand at the apartment gate daryl & dog walk through after carol goes inside the apartment garage. apparently the film crew built the homes with the sole intent to sell them off afterwards so that it's not just another film set and that the homes get put to real use. it'll run you up between $750k - $1.2m, but you'll get to wake up each day in your favourite show 😂. if i lived there, i'd set up a "Walker Halloween Event" or something, big middle of the street parties with everybody dressed as walkers, maybe even a few from the group 😂
If you look at the movie called "MoonRunners" (1975) some scenes were shot at the same location in Sharpsburg. It starred Robert Mitchum's son, James Mitchum. It was the movie that the TV series "The Dukes of Hazzard" was based on. I live in Griffin, GA.
Excellent work bud! I finally got an opportunity to sit down and watch this video in full. This show was great early on and hung in there a while but I couldn’t watch a post Rick Grimes Walking Dead lol. I will def take the tour when in the area. This was a great watch!
Thanks Nick! I agree with you, I thought the show was a lot better early on. I hung onto it mainly because of the time I invested into it over the years. Still really cool to see the locations and the tour was really interesting to see all the places they used for filming.
@@ComeSeeWithMe Awesome. And I agree with regarding the invested time etc. Seeing these locations in person must come w bonus chills lol due to the zombie apocalypse. They should offer that tour for years to come.
It's crazy to think how many filming locations they needed. I was under the assumption they just built everything on a tiny plot of land. If you look at how 300 was made they filmed most of 300 on 1 rock in a studio
I think that little rock wall that you couldn't remember what was filmed there, I think that is where the Terminus people took Bob and cut off his leg and was eating it. TAINTED MEAT!! I'm not sure but I think that is it. Thanks for the video tour.
You sure? I thought that lil rock wall with the waterfall was where Rick gave his " are you with me" speech after they lost Herschals Farm right before they found the Prison like wasn't the prison supposed to be right beyond that?
The one wall in Senoia on the front side of Milton's lab is the JSS wall where Enid's parents were killed and she was trapped in the car during her origin flashback. Poor Enid.
TWD.. I wonder what the time scale of spread was ?? scary to think C-19 how fast it spread... just shows nature good or bad is in control... just to help you sleep better... www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-5120743/Nightmarish-image-fly-head-infected-zombie-fungus.html look at it looking deeeeep into you... feel the cold chill it gives you.....
I know that they have filmed in Texas for the last few seasons but that bridge that Rick ended looks a lot like the one Morgan got left zip-tied at and stuck on top of that SUV in Fear the Walking Dead.
I always wondered about actual filming locations because I lived in Virginia for a few years and thought it didn't resemble the landscape in the walking dead...
Yeah, a lot of movies and tv series that are based in a location stated in the movie or show are often filmed in a completely different area or location. Nearly everything filmed in the Walking Dead is filmed in Georgia despite what they say in the show. I too used to live in Virginia. I lived in Charlottesville for about 10 years and have been all the state and knew without having to look it up that the places in the Walking Dead that they said were in Virginia were not.
This land is your land and this land is my land From California to the New York island From the redwood forest to the Gulf Stream waters This land was made for you and me As I went walking that ribbon of highway I saw above me that endless skyway Saw below me that golden valley This land was made for you and me I roamed and rambled and I've followed my footsteps To the sparkling sands of her diamond deserts All around me a voice was sounding This land was made for you and me When the sun come shining, then I was strolling And the wheat fields waving and the dust clouds rolling The voice was chanting as the fog was lifting This land was made for you and me This land is your land and this land is my land From California to the New York island From the redwood forest to the Gulf Stream waters This land was made for you and me When the sun come shining, then I was strolling And the wheat fields waving and the dust clouds rolling The voice come a-chanting and the fog was lifting This land was made for you and me 🎶
Thanks man. Im in fl, I wanna do this tour. What tour did you take if you don't mind ? Sorry if you mentioned it already. Thanks . Never mind you said what do take lol. Sorry thanks again man
The tour I took was called the walking dead studio tour. The tour meets and departs right from the parking lot of the studios parking lot in Senoia, Georgia. I have no idea if COVID-19 is or has affected the tours currently, but that’s the one I took and it was fantastic. And if Mike is still doing the tours, he’s the guy you want to give you yours, he’s the best.
