In Season 1 and Season 2 Carl was 12 years old and In Season 3 He’s 13 years old. This episode takes place over days 295 - 297 after the Zombie Apocalypse began. The Season 2 finale happened on Day 83 after the Zombie Apocalypse began so there is a time jump of 212 Days (7 months and 2 days) between 2x13 and 3x01 which is nearly 8 months. Rick’s been awake from his coma for 238 (7 months and 28 days) days now so it’s been a time jump. He woke up on Day 59 which is about 2 months.

Can we all just take a moment and observe how awesome the first minutes of the episode plays out. Not a single word is spoken but we can see so much about what the characters have gone through since the end of Season 2. We can see that a significant amount of time has passed which is 8 months given the way the characters have grown and facial hair (Hershel) They have gotten a lot more experience and are working together as a great team We can tell by how well organized search of the house is done by all. They have bonded and are growing closer to each other Great scene and great job by the actors conveying all of this.

I'm kinda glad Rick snubbed Lori, considering her reaction to Rick confessing that he had to kill Shane. She shoved him off her like she still had feelings for his friend even after playing emotion games with him for two seasons.

I have that game..2 copies..its called "Survival Instinct" Very simple play. You get to be Daryl, searching for Merle before they meet up with the group.

Daryl and Meryl weren't in the original story. They were added to the show and had a purpose... but that purpose changed quickly... I'll detail that more when you get deeper, so there's no spoilers. 😊

Yup, funny enough Daryl wasn’t originally made at all and it was just gonna be Merle. When Norman Reedus came and auditioned for the role of Merle, AMC had already casted Michael Rooker as Merle Dixon. But AMC loved Norman’s audition so much they made Daryl Dixon just for him on the show. Daryl was also suppose to die in season 1 but the fans loved him so much that he survived through season 2.

fr season 3-6 are unbelivably good. there are so many crazy, gut wrenching moments, interesting new people, good antagonists and SM great character development. no spoilers but the "flower scene" and the last scene with the claimers are sooo good & extremly emotional. the later seasons aren't bad, but 3-6 are 100% peak twd.

On the topic of how easy it is to kill walkers. In season 1 when Jim got bit and was left to turn he made a comment saying his bones felt like glass and at that moment he was still alive so I imagine killing a walker honestly ain't that difficult.

Rick is still upset over how Lori reacted when she found out Rick had to kill Shane because Lori still had feelings for him. And she pushed Rick away. Fans hated Lori even before that. I think the very first Walking Dead game was "Survival Instinct". You get to play Daryl looking for Merle after the fall, before they found the group at the rock pit, S1. I played it at least 20 times, (very simple play) and still have 2 copies of it for my old XBox.

Daryl will eat anything. Squirrels, Possums. I forgot about this owl. 🤣Its better when they find some canned foods but you know those expire within 3 yrs. Spam does at least. Michonne is the name of the lady with the Katana (sword). Who the 2 walkers are is explained later on. They are useful if Walker herds come along. It makes the other Walkers not notice her.

Rick gives the cold shoulder because Lori has been playing mind games with him for so long, her then going off on him after killing Shane was too much. Or more like the last time. She herself whispered like a jezebel in his ear how Shane thought her and Carl was his with the only conclusion being Rick must take Shane out. Even from before the apocalypse they showed her playing mind games with him. She actually had a problem with him being too perfect. Tearing him down infront of Carl. Lori's the worst.

This is where the show starts to get really good, it was alright before but now they are a more well prepared group and know to survive and deal with the walkers.
