Let us know how you felt about the group thinking of executing Randall? What would you do?
This is Brooke's first-time reaction to The Walking Dead and she is trying to catch up through all the seasons in order for us to react to the walking dead Season 11 part 3 finale. We are on Season 2 Episode 11 'Judge Jury and Executioner" and this was a rough one losing one of our favorite characters.

I just found your reactions and from your mindset right now i dont think you would last long in this world. Yes you have to weigh the options heavily but at the end of the day you still have to keep not just yourself but an entire group safe. Even though Rick considered killing Randell he still gave everyone in the group the chance to speak up to say if they agreed or not. Which even though Rick makes the final decision he still takes into consideration of what everyone else thinks. Now if it was Shane that was in charge he would kill Radell outright and not ask for anyone else's opion on the matter. He has said numerous times that the right decision is the one that keeps us alive but the "us" he is referring to is himself, Lori and Carl and no else.

I’m glad you discovered us and thank you for the comment! I think you have some great points and like Dale has said this world is hard and brutal. I’d like to think you can keep your humanity but there is definitely a risk keeping a potential threat around, even if you let him go. My argument was that once you mended his leg back to health you already made a choice. Executing him after that we thought was a little too cruel.

@@welovehorror I think Rick panicked a little once the kid said he knew Maggie which ment he knew where they lived. Also he had just Shane in his ear at the time but he did bring it to the group. As for Dale and his point to me it seemed as though he was the one trying to bully everyone with his opinion. I get having a stance and not budging from it but he was given the opportunity to go around and talk to everyone and when they didn't say what he wanted to hear he would tell them that that isn't how they feel and that people were letting themselves be bullied into thinking Randell should die even though Rick never went around to talk to anyone individually but always in a group setting to hear everyone out. Everyone is scared of the unknown and that is what is influencing their decisions the most.

Poor Dale!. He just was not meant for this crazy new world! If this was real, my wife would open the front door. Look outside and probably say: “No. This is just not going to work for me.” Move over, Dale!

I know what you mean! Dale was the voice of reason and humanity, which is also dying in this world.
