When it first aired, Rick said "they're screwing with the wrong people". They released the fucking one on dvd I think, and it's so much better, which is why I posted few episodes back to watch that ending too!
I'll always love how protective Michonne and RIck got when that guy was getting carved up. Michonne's first instinct was to cradle and hold Carl while Rick's was to unleash Hell upon the man that tried to do what he did. And then Daryl comes along and tells Rick that he did what was necessary to survive and that it's not something that defines who he is. Survival in this world is visceral and cruel, but Daryl knows that these extreme actions Rick takes do not alter who he is as a person unlike people who have done cruel things like Shane and The Governor. Rick is strong and the latter two were weak.
Last episode you said "I can't imagine a scenario where I would say no to bacon". This episode, you still want that bacon. Can't wait to see how you feel about Terminus brand bacon tomorrow! 😄
The Hershel flashbacks was to show the birth of Farmer Rick (as fans called him) The rest of the episode was showing the death of Farmer Rick and the rebirth of the Warrior.
It was a real "Oh shit" moment when Rick ripped that guy's throat out. And while I'm not a parent, I'd imagine a father would murder anyone without question who was trying to hurt his kid, especially in the zombie apocalypse.
Honestly I get why Rick chewed dudes throat out. You could tell those guys weren't guys who could talk out of their plans to hurt Rick and Carl. And I'd honestly feel so much safer with someone like Rick knowing he has my back so heavily that he'll eat someone's neck in order to save me. 10/10 my guy. Also the "they're fucking with the wrong people" Iconic! You can't say that visual and line is not chilling in the most bad ass way.
They said they were going to rape and kill Carl and Michonne. Make Rick watch and then kill him. He had to go animalistic on Joe and his gang to save their lives. Michonne shot and killed two of the gang and Daryl fought 3 to hold off the attack. They all used their instincts in a desperate situation. There were two versions of Ricks comments to close out the episode. Messing with and F…ing with. I’ve seen both.
Many believe the moment Rick bites into Joe’s neck was the moment Rick lost the last remnant of what he was before the world fell. This is who they are now coming into season 5, Dales words of humanity are forgotten.
Rick’s arc this season has been amazing It’s all been about him trying to suppress the brutality within himself in order to steer Carl down the right path That’s why he stepped down as leader and threw all his energy into farming He even stopped carrying his gun on him And then everything he’s built starts to unravel The prison falls and Rick sees that Carl never will be the kid he wants him to be And then the ultimate realization that Rick has failed to protect his son from the brutality of the world he’s forced to rip a mans throat out with his teeth to stop Carl being raped Incredible writing.
@@dravenquinn264 Rick is the dude I’d follow, to hell and back…..and I’ll die on this hill. He makes mistakes, like everyone is bound to, but there’s a reason people follow him. I’d of course get into more reasons but spoilers.
Fun Fact: When Rick was cleaning the blood from his face the rag got stuck on the blood around his mouth and pulled out clumps of his beard. Andrew Lincoln is such a good actor that he carried on through the pain to finish the scene without reshoots.
The actual line when it aired on TV was “they’re screwing with the wrong people” because of the censors but the writers said the original line did use the eff word & they filmed it as intended also for the video market
Rick and the murder jacket 😂🤤 I don’t blame Rick for not helping that guy, they were in no position to help someone. Barely any weapons or supplies. You take the risk when you’re better prepared, otherwise it’s the person you’re trying to save dies and you die along with them.
When Rick suddenly knocked that plate out the woman’s hand he saw the orange backpack Glenn’s riot gear being worn and Daryl’s poncho and the watch he knew something was up.

You have deleted scenes.When we saw this on TV Rick said screwing cause they still weren't allowed to say the f word. It has since changed in the last few years and they can say it once a season.
Rick brought out his savage with that Claimer group when he bit Joe’s throat you don’t mess with his boy I love the scene where he and Daryl are talking about all that happened afterwards and Rick told him you’re my brother.

I remember being so pissed at this cliff hanger lol I thought that was the worst! Having to wait months to find out what was going to happen next... Then came Negan's cliffhanger. I've never seen ANY show not even this one match that cliffhanger again. So many people were pissed, hyped, etc. Legendary
Comic Comparisons : First the scene with Joe and the Claimers runs a bit different in the comics Daryl isn’t there because he doesn’t exist in the comics Rick Abraham (instead of Michonne) and Carl are ambushed by three random bandits It’s heavily implied that they’re gonna rape Carl to the point they take off most of Carl’s clothes save for his undergarments The rest of the scene goes as in the show Rick rips one of their throats out with his teeth Abraham kills the other and Rick brutality kills the one who was going to rape Carl Undoubtedly the most skin crawling scene in all of TWD. Second : Terminus doesn’t exist in the comics but the concept of the people do Rick’s line in the comics is They’re fucking with the wrong people but because it’s on TV they had to censor it you can hear Rick say that line on the Blu Ray DVD which features the uncensored version of the Season 4 finale.

All of them were bad I think. The first episode we see them in they find Michonne’s shirt and one of them say’s they claim her if she gets back. Also when they capture them they say they’ll have the girl and the boy.

They were murders and rapers. Like come on. Why are u saying hershel wouldnt want rick to kill him. And that he lost any humanity there. He saved his families lives and son from being raped. That's humanity. I feel like u use this system of who's wrong or right at by now in this show I'm surprised u havent figured out u cant think black and white. U dont have to blame someone when something goes wrong. I know ur past this at this point but I just wanted to share my opinion so far.
